Arguments in a lawsuit that has been percolating through the federal court system in California since Barack Obama's election on his eligibility to occupy the Oval Office is going to be heard at the appellate level in just a few weeks.
Officials with the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals today notified attorneys representing several dozen individuals – members of the military, members of state government and even a candidate for president – that oral arguments will be held on May 2.
"I can't believe it, but after two years of Obama litigation, for the first time the court of appeals scheduled oral argument in [the] Obama case," wrote Orly Taitz, a prominent California attorney who has litigated a number of challenges to Obama.
"This is [the] Judge Carter case, where I represent Ambassador Alan Keyes, 10 state representatives and 30 members of [the] U.S. military," she wrote in her blog confirmation of the plans.

There seems to be a little problem with Obama’s Social Security Number as shown on his draft registration, which has been obtained by a retired vet.
If Trump enters the presidential race, officially, would he then have "standing" to file a lawsuit arguing the Obama is not legally the President?
Several of these cases have been dismissed for lack of standing, (a legal term I admit I am not fully up to speed on). But it seems that anyone running against the anointed one would have the legal basis to challenge this.

It might be the truth, but it’s a bit premature to call the desired outcome “inevitable”.

There is no truth to come out other than what we already know—Obama was born in Hawaii and, like it or not, that makes him a native born citizen.
Rage away.
Just hearing it is a big step as either way it could go to SCOTUS (again).
Ninth Circus Court of Appeals?
A just ruling would be more likely to come from the Soviet Supreme Court in the 1930’s than from the Ninth Circus today.
Nothing good is going to come from the very, very liberal 9th Circus Court.

The 9th Circuit is the most liberal court in the nation, and will rule in Barry's favor, without a single doubt.

The 9th Circuit is the most liberal....so they will probably rule in favor of Obama....but at least there is a chance the cases will be heard.

It’s inevitable in the long run. Not inevitable that it will come out before the next election. Not even inevitable that it come out before the ‘16 election (though I would say that it probably will).
But it is inevitable. Some day the historical fact of this gross miscarriage of constitutional law will be out there.
Native Born, is not Natural Born, as is required by the US Constitution.
Besides the fact, that what you just stated has never been proven. To this very day, no one has produced a single, verifiable shred of proof that Obama was born in Hawaii. Not one.
Not just anyone. You’d have to pass a certain threshold of credibility as someone who has some actual chance to win. I suppose if McCain had sued during the last election, he might have gotten a hearing. He didn’t because he would have looked stupid after he lost the case.
If anyone ever does get this to court, here’s what will happen. The state of Hawaii will provide documentation to the court. The court will accept it. If anyone raises the two citizen parent issue the court will not accept that as valid. Appeal a few times and that will be that.
Win elections. That works better than nonsense.
They’ve produced more than enough for people thinking rationally.
