Just this week French President Sarkozy said, “My answer is clearly yes, it is a failure….we have been too concerned about the identity of the person who was arriving and not enough about the identity of the country that was receiving him..”
David Cameron, the UK Prime Minister, told the Munich Security Conference that “state multiculturalism had failed and pledged to cut funding for Muslim groups that failed to respect basic British values.”
Former Australian PM Howard Baker said “The Anglosphere–Australia, Britain, Canada, New Zealand and the United States–needed to take greater pride in its values and achievements.
So while other countries are waking up to the dangers of allowing foreign cultures to immigrate but refuse to assimilate, many in the U.S. blindly ignore the damage being done to our country.

For the European leaders, they would JUST LOVE to continue their experiment, but they see parties to their right (that don’t bother with PC) nipping at their heels.
As to whether it could work...that answer was clear DECADES AGO, and Obama and EVERYONE ELSE knows it. It’s just that a divided and weak country helps liberals (be that in the US or Europe). But now there is some blowback in Europe - here, it’s hard to tell still.
Obama likes it. The plan is to eliminate the White Middle Class...Tea Party. A last obsticle to the communist revolution that is underway.

Bureau of the Census: An Older and More Diverse Nation by Midcentury
"The nation will be more racially and ethnically diverse, as well as much older, by midcentury, according to projections released today by the U.S. Census Bureau.
"Minorities, now roughly one-third of the U.S. population, are expected to become the majority in 2042, with the nation projected to be 54 percent minority in 2050. By 2023, minorities will comprise more than half of all children.
By 2050, the minority population -- everyone except for non-Hispanic, single-race whites -- is projected to be 235.7 million out of a total U.S. population of 439 million. The nation is projected to reach the 400 million population milestone in 2039.
The non-Hispanic, single-race white population is projected to be only slightly larger in 2050 (203.3 million) than in 2008 (199.8 million). In fact, this group is projected to lose population in the 2030s and 2040s and comprise 46 percent of the total population in 2050, down from 66 percent in 2008.
Meanwhile, the Hispanic population is projected to nearly triple, from 46.7 million to 132.8 million during the 2008-2050 period. Its share of the nation's total population is projected to double, from 15 percent to 30 percent. Thus, nearly one in three U.S. residents would be Hispanic.
The black population is projected to increase from 41.1 million, or 14 percent of the population in 2008, to 65.7 million, or 15 percent in 2050.
The Asian population is projected to climb from 15.5 million to 40.6 million. Its share of the nation's population is expected to rise from 5.1 percent to 9.2 percent.
On the contrary, multiculturalism works perfectly. The purpose of multiculturalism is to create little identity groups (gay, black, Hispanic, Jihadists, Islamists, the poor) and to prevent them from merging into the larger culture. That way Obama can target patronage to those groups and they, in turn, will vote for him.

Well, you know, if you give women the choice to work for money, or to work for no money raising kids, enough will choose the former to crash that population (as is now happening in Europe and Asia).
For minorities, a lot of their people don’t reach the educational levels of white women...so staying home with the kids is easier (and having kids, in those cultures, gets them respect, instead of disdain).

It is also useful to note that of the 1.2 million legal immigrants we take in annually, 87% are minorities as defined by the USG. And almost all of the 500,000 to 1 million illegal aliens who enter each year are minorities. Birth rates and immigration have changed the demographics of this country forever. And the rapidity with which it was done is simply breathtaking.
Multiculturalism, along with diversity, and tolerance were designed and injected into curricula by Cultural Marxists like Herbert Marcuse. It’s intention is to destroy cohesion and create divide to destroy the two pillars that they knew were holding up Western Civilization and making it too strong to attack from outside: Christianity and the natural family.
Multiculturalism is only to create relativism—destroy Christian moral absolutes—that there is right and wrong. It is also to convince children that Western Civilization is way more evil than the indians who practiced incest and homosexuality and cannibalism as norms. It creates cognitive dissonance in children’s minds....they will no longer be able to think logically. Reason will never prevail and that is the Marxist’s aim—so that people will succumb to their brainwashing and not know truth when they hear is. After all, no reasonable person could ever think Marxism works.
They know when you destroy Christian morality (virtue), you will destroy relationships which will destroy the family. The result: Children are destroyed and rendered useless idiots==people who are self-indulgent, with no perseverance and no compassion for other human beings....they can not love themselves because their own parents had no time for them and they go through life as self-loathers who need activities to fool them into thinking they are worthy for life, when they know they are nothing but “trousered apes”. They live for the present....have no knowledge of the past, nor care about their future. They just care about their pleasure of the moment.
Nihilism becomes the norm....there is no hope or happiness. Only healthy relationships make one happy, with the belief in God. Meaning in life and a reward for perseverance and trying to make the world a better place only come from metaphysical ideals.

Maybe, probably, but not yet definitely. We’ve integrated groups throughout history...but with exceptions. Blacks appear impossible to integrate, as their ethnic identity is so strong, along with their history of bad things happening. Asians seems to have zero problems integrating. Europeans have no problem (obviously...but that was not always the case in strong ethnic neighborhoods).
Hispanics remain the wild card. The Dems are DESPERATE to keep them as an oppressed minority - but they don’t follow the playbook nearly to the extent of blacks. When they LEARN ENGLISH as a first language, and get an education, they are as American as anyone else...as far as I can tell from working with boatloads of them. They are clearly the wild card.
With 50% out of wedlock birthrates and even higher school drop out rates, Hispanics will be part of a permanent underclass that will be dependent upon government and be Democrat voters. They vote 65% to 35% for the Dems now.

"Unless the life chances of children raised by single mothers suddenly improve, the explosive growth of the U.S. Hispanic population over the next couple of decades does not bode well for American social stability. Hispanic immigrants bring near–Third World levels of fertility to America, coupled with what were once thought to be First World levels of illegitimacy. (In fact, family breakdown is higher in many Hispanic countries than here.) Nearly half of the children born to Hispanic mothers in the U.S. are born out of wedlock, a proportion that has been increasing rapidly with no signs of slowing down. Given what psychologists and sociologists now know about the much higher likelihood of social pathology among those who grow up in single-mother households, the Hispanic baby boom is certain to produce more juvenile delinquents, more school failure, more welfare use, and more teen pregnancy in the future.
The dimensions of the Hispanic baby boom are startling. The Hispanic birthrate is twice as high as that of the rest of the American population. That high fertility rate—even more than unbounded levels of immigration—will fuel the rapid Hispanic population boom in the coming decades. By 2050, the Latino population will have tripled, the Census Bureau projects. One in four Americans will be Hispanic by mid-century, twice the current ratio. In states such as California and Texas, Hispanics will be in the clear majority. Nationally, whites will drop from near 70 percent of the total population in 2000 to just half by 2050. Hispanics will account for 46 percent of the nation’s added population over the next two decades, the Pew Hispanic Center reports.
But it’s the fertility surge among unwed Hispanics that should worry policymakers. Hispanic women have the highest unmarried birthrate in the country—over three times that of whites and Asians, and nearly one and a half times that of black women, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Every 1,000 unmarried Hispanic women bore 92 children in 2003 (the latest year for which data exist), compared with 28 children for every 1,000 unmarried white women, 22 for every 1,000 unmarried Asian women, and 66 for every 1,000 unmarried black women. Forty-five percent of all Hispanic births occur outside of marriage, compared with 24 percent of white births and 15 percent of Asian births. Only the percentage of black out-of-wedlock births—68 percent—exceeds the Hispanic rate. But the black population is not going to triple over the next few decades.
As if the unmarried Hispanic birthrate weren’t worrisome enough, it is increasing faster than among other groups. It jumped 5 percent from 2002 to 2003, whereas the rate for other unmarried women remained flat. Couple the high and increasing illegitimacy rate of Hispanics with their higher overall fertility rate, and you have a recipe for unstoppable family breakdown.

This Backgrounder examines the political implications of large-scale immigration. Between 1980 and 2008, 25.2 million people were granted permanent residency (green cards) by the United States. A comparison of voting patterns in presidential elections across counties over the last three decades shows that large-scale immigration has caused a steady drop in presidential Republican vote shares throughout the country. Once politically marginal counties are now safely Democratic due to the propensity of immigrants, especially Latinos, to identify and vote Democratic. The partisan impact of immigration is relatively uniform throughout the country, even though local Republican parties have taken different positions on illegal immigration. Although high immigration may work against Democratic policy goals, such as raising wages for the poor and protecting the environment, it does improve Democratic electoral prospects. In contrast, immigration may help Republican business interests hold down wages, but it also undermines the party’s political fortunes. Future levels of immigration are likely to be a key determinant of Republicans’ political prospects moving forward.

And no, I didn’t write it or even know of it. But it does make my point - we’ve got much bigger things to worry about than a demographic meltdown.
...and beyond that, Obama has essentially turned whites into single party voters (or reasonably close) - given that, whites will have a lot of power, if not control, for many, many, decades.
Sorry, don’t buy it. I agree Hispanics will never be as conservative as whites, but as long as they don’t vote 90/10 like blacks, their influence will be relatively small for a very long time.

Obviously, but the EXACT SAME THING happened with Italians 100 or so years ago. They kept their language and had NO INTEREST in leaving their enclaves. But the country, as a whole, thought differently. We cut off their immigration, forced them to learn English, and sure enough they integrated.
Immigrant groups will not assimilate on their own (other than Asians, and that’s only because they can beat whites at their own game)...they have to be FORCED to assimilate, and I don’t see why that can’t work for Hispanics.
