The headlines bring us serious and distressful news about the price of gas. They tell us we will be paying $5.00 or more for gas this summer. They tell us the chances of driving to a get-away spot to take a break from the daily struggles of feeding and caring for our families are disappearing.
But the headlines also tell us the feckless ineffective pretender in the White House forced on us by a collection of the half witted and greedy is going on vacation AGAIN because he needs a break from destroying our country.
Nothing seems to deter Barack Obama from partying. So with our national government about to be shut down (not a bad thing to be sure) and a question hanging in the air about whether that will lead to our military being stiffed on payday, “Nero” Obama has once again packed his fiddle and is preparing to go on a “family vacation” to Colonial Williamsburg Virginia.
Since this is a “long-planned family trip” we are supposed to smile and wave to the Obama clan as they slink out of Washington this weekend.

Wednesday while Obama was addressing a gathering in rural Pennsylvania Nero Obama actually wisecracked to an audience questioner who had the temerity to ask him about high gas prices. Obama laughed at the man and replied, “If you’re complaining about the price of gas and you’re only getting 8 miles a gallon, you know you might want to think about a trade-in.”

The govt shutdown would be worth it if only the WH staff were included in it as well as the pilot and crew of AF1.
Would love to see them have to stay home and do their own cooking, cleaning and laundry.............

Obama's "Let them eat cake" moment. It's the American people's fault because we all drive giant gas guzzling SUVs instead of smart cars. Maybe he should tell us to inflate our tires and get a tune up. Oh, that's right, he already did that. He also told us before he was elected that "under my plan, energy prices would necessarily skyrocket". But nobody cared to listen (see my tagline).

I guess 49-50% polling range looks like his permanent ceiling. He seems to manipulate between 43-49% any day of the week and does, frequently, but it’s been awhile since he sustained at 50%. All this when we don’t even have a strong declared candidate yet.
Probably he can bump upward once he has someone to go after as our nominee, but this will be a very tight race in 2012. We might even win!!! The key is a fearless, confidence factor that attracts independents to our side. They will decide the election. What do you think?
