Top Ten Reasons Why Sarah Palin is Running For President
HUMAN EVENTS ^ | 13 APRIL 2011 | TONY LEE

Will she or won’t she run for President?

I once laid out the reasons why Sarah Palin has a better shot of becoming president than Barack Obama did before Obama announced his candidacy during the 2008 election cycle.

And while conventional wisdom among the chattering class continues to lean against Palin mounting a presidential run, Palin has been courting the conservative base while not alienating swing voters in swing states such as Ohio, Colorado, and Florida better than any potential GOP contender.

Too often, those who cover Palin do not listen to her words or read her statements, Facebook postings, or tweets. As a result, conventional wisdom holds that Palin is setting herself up to be an entertainer, a conservative money maker, or a right-wing flame thrower who seeks only to rouse up the conservative base and get rich quick off of it. If those who proffer these theories had listened to and read her words closely, they would know that Palin has been telling everyone that she is running for president in 2012. Here are ten reasons why.

Don’t know about anyone else but I’m biding my time waiting on Sarah Palin. Not much to be said at this point and I don’t care to argue with those opposed to her. As for Trump, imo only misguided conservative morons would back him for president.

BINGO!

Especially is she loses the nomination as a Republican.

Plus, if she announces that she isn’t running the same thing will happen.

I hope she doesn’t run. She cannot win.

I’m going to have to get my 16-year old son to translate that after school! (That is Latin isn’t it?!) LOL

Ya never know when you will find a GEM hidden amongst all the other threads.

So did Fred Thompson until he had to. Didn’t work last time, won’t work now.

You have to enter and actually run against your opponents.

There is nothing brilliant about staying outside what is happening. You will just be looked as as though you were never really in it. The nomination is supposed to be a fight, not a coronation.

The notion that winning the White House would be a downward trend in the career of an individual is completely absurd.

I’m sure it’s privately considered absurd even by those in the anti-Palin movement (they have publicly pretended otherwise ever since they first invented the absurdity a few months ago).

He won’t be much help. It doesn’t mean anything. It’s fake text that publishers use to fill up a page when running proofs. Other than his obvious additions, of course.

Outside of a 4th Grade schoolyard, Leo, that doesn't get you very far in life.

I guess you don't like people laughing at you.

Lot's of them.

Especially when fourth grade Latin (it is fourth grade level Latin that I used, isn't it?) is used as an example of your sesquipedalianist writing.

I'll try hard to graduate to the fifth grade.

You be good now, Polybius.

Don't pick fights with folks who can embarrass you.

Good little tyke, run along now.

Go play with your ‘I Hate Sarah Blocks’ now...

Atta boy!

Palin and Trump are both signs of the same de-evolution.

Will she or won’t she run for President?

She already is, and has been for some time now.

... and a successful author, etc. It’s one thing to lose as someone else’s running mate. When she loses on her own, all that popularity will quickly dry up. Her publishers know it. She likely knows it. She’s be derailing her own gravy train, and she would then be without influence.

The counterpoint to that argument is that she only has influence now because she's a potential candidate. If she takes that off the table, she'd have no influence or "gravy train".

Trump will not wear well for very long, his statement that he will run as a independent if he does not win the Rep nod, shows what a jerk he is.

I have not fallen for his pandering, am surprised so many have...what a joke watching him on 700 Club , he does not even know what he is saying.

Hey, the Trumpsters were for Michelle Bachmann a couple weeks ago,. both of these characters are just a flash in the pan.

Wait until Sarah announces, then you will understand!

You have to enter and actually run against your opponents.

Yes, but you don't have to be the first one in nor do you have to work to someone else's timetable. If she's running (and I bet that she is), she aleady has an idea of when and how she will officially enter the race, and isn't going to be pushed into going early just to appease some internet keyboard cowboys who demand that she work according to their ideas of what should be done. (Nor should any of the other potential candidates, for that matter. Palin is hardly alone in this regard.)
