OATHKEEPERS LAUNCH 'OPERATION SLEEPING GIANT'
Liberty News ^ | 4/18/11 | Stewart Rhodes

The U.S.S. Economic Titanic has already hit the economic ice-berg and is sinking. Arguing over who should be the next captain is not going to save us. Even if we replaced the entire leadership staff, by firing all of Congress, that also won't save us. Those who have served in the infantry know the old saying "embrace the suck," which means to accept reality and deal with it. Well, we need to dispense with false hope, accept that an economic collapse is coming, embrace the suck, and deal with it. As Patrick Henry said, it is better to know the worst, and provide for it, than to delude ourselves with false hope.

"Embrace the suck"

Well that's a positive message. Most likely a true message, but depressing never the less.

Why did that remind me of Lewinsky?

Reality will overtake some folks like the recent Japanses tsunamis. They won’t believe it, much less consider its implications and prepare for them even while it’s coming right at ‘em in plain sight.

This is EXACTLY the message that most of America already tried to send to Washington during Bush’s final days when we slammed the phone systems into oblivion telling them not to pass the first spending bill. People who ordinarily would never call their reps called over and over telling them, “We will take the pain now just save the future generations.” But they would not listen.

Thank you. Will read carefully. I just used the Titanic analogy today. Not just financial, it’s everything.

Interesting although when I read the linked article I was really puzzled by who the author thinks his audience lives. Save your neighborhood? The national guard doesn’t have sufficient fire power or personel to save my neighborhood in time of crisis; the only answer for me and people like me is to have prepared to flee the neighborhood, which I’ve done but many more can’t.

” Arguing over who should be the next captain is not going to save us. Even if we replaced the entire leadership staff, by firing all of Congress, that also won’t save us. “

This is a point that’s so very hard to make with most people (FReepers *and* my Liberal Neighbors) — we’re past the point where a ‘political solution’ is possible...

The Disaster has already begun, and there’s no ‘unmaking the omelette’.....

If you have not been embracing the suck since the usurper-in-chief was "elected," you are wrong!

“embrace the suck” means something totally different to Larry Sinclair’s lover.

Everybody knows what needs to be done. Whole Departments and agencies need to be eliminated. That means Energy, Welfare, EEOC, etc. That means foreign aid and welfare along with welfare for the rich. The debt limit along with budgets need not be exceeded-—start cutting. Conclude the war on our terms-—kick their ass, take their gas. Put fear into those bastards hearts over there.

That’s what needs to be done. Donald Trump?
