Awesome….Trump Supports Taking Private Property Of Citizens

Why oh why are Conservatives getting hoodwinked by this fraud?

CAVUTO: You know, the one thing that sticks in the craw of a lot of people with this court, Donald — and I don’t know where you come down on it, but this eminent domain issue that essentially allowed someone’s home to be bulldozed, as was the case in New London, Connecticut, if it gets in the way of developers. Now, you’re a pretty successful developer in your own right. What did you think of that decision? Was the court overdoing it with that decision?

TRUMP: Well, it’s sort of not a good one for me to say, because I noticed every article written about it said, “Will Donald Trump take over your home?” sort of using me as the example, Neil. And it’s sort of — it’s an interesting situation to be in. But I happen to agree with it 100 percent, not that I would want to use it. But the fact is, if you have a person living in an area that’s not even necessarily a good area, and government, whether it’s local or whatever, government wants to build a tremendous economic development, where a lot of people are going to be put to work and make area that’s not good into a good area, and move the person that’s living there into a better place — now, I know it might not be their choice — but move the person to a better place and yet create thousands upon thousands of jobs and beautification and lots of other things, I think it happens to be good. (Fox News, 7/19/05)

Check out the link above to read about the times he has actually tried to use eminent domain to evict people, for his business interests of course.

How does he answer this? Well, because it was a 10 years ago and back then all conservatives backed using eminent domain to seize private property, as well as socialized health care.

I s**t you not:

"Obamaniacs are out in full force discrediting the Donald!"

They don't have to, he does a good enough job discrediting himself.

“On the other hand, lets say you have a tar paper shack on the bank of a river, and that location is the only logical spot where an interstate bridge can be built.
Do you cancel the bridge to save the shack?

Inquiring minds want to know. ;)”

Other than a few Objectivists, I think that most of us here are happy to see the Constitution followed...which gives the government the right to take that shack - provided they are compensated justly and the land is for public use (i.e., NOT FOR A PRIVATE TOLL ROAD), such as an interstate. Our problem is when well-connected campaign donors get to build a marina and a hotel on that land...there’s just something unjust there - or maybe it’s me.

Hmmm, sounds a lot like Stalin’s take on private property. So who out there is going to defend THIS?

Trump would be a good conservative, a good socialist, a good monarchist or even a good nazi if being so furthered Trump. He is first and perhaps only an opportunist. I see nothing to like about him except he’s not obama.
I for one will never go for a slickly packaged unknown. A lot of folks did last time and the country has been nearly destroyed. This nation mustn’t do it again.

“Just working the system the only way they know how. Charlatans.”

Let me start by saying that I know Trump is a sleazeball,
but if we do not grow a pair and get someone tough on our side, we will fail, just as we did with McStain.

So far, Sarah is the only one on our side that is worth anything at all, but she has been so beat up by both left and right, I can not see her for all the fog.

At this point, I think Obozo, along with the Marxist media
and education has destroyed America, and only an act of God can save her.

The primaries are a long way away.

If it's true that Trump is playing us like a fiddle, how 'bout if WE play HIM like a fiddle to help destroy Obama until say at least the fall of this year?

“This isn’t about an interstate bridge which would fall under the Constitution’s grant of postal roads. This is abuse of eminent domain to benefit one private business over the private property of another individual. That is far different than legitimate infrastructure, that is corruption, pure and simple._______________________________________

Well, of course...
Anyone with half a brain knows that the law should never be
used to benefit an individual or corporation.
There are some, however, that think the law should NEVER be used.

The ONLY reason I pay attention to Trump is he has the stones to take the “Birther/Proofer” issue straight to Obama’s face.

I would never vote for him in a primary, or a general election.

Those comments were made on the date, "Fox News, 7/19/05"

So it's too late to be forced to get twice what my property's worth?

Blame the Supreme Court, not Donald Trump.

Fixing the Supreme Court requires holding Presidential candidates responsible for their position.

Notice how Trump’s been very nice to Palin, the only “negative” thing he has said was that she made a mistake resigning as Gov. Which I agree with.

Heck, if the government called and said “you have to move. Here’s a check for $300,000 (my house is worth $210k tops)” I’d turn to my wife and say “Let’s pack.”

I'm guessing the donald doesn't know that property is still sitting dormant 5 odd years later ? that Pfizer shutdown and moved across the river ?
That all the reasons donald gives for “the taking” didn't pan out?

Funny but what I have seen is people supporting Trump’s attacks on Obama more than supporting him per se. Most of us are pleased to see Urkel’s frauds exposed and we have to take what we get from whom we get it. And no one else has anything like his visibility in asking that the BC be made public.

Haven’t seen anyone claiming the Donald is their favorite candidate on every issue.

Worse, I've seen people even here actually defend how he uses eminent domain abuses. When you hope for change, you'll fall for any clown.

I was high on Trump for awhile, but when I learned of this, that killed it. I can't get behind a man who would take private property and give it away for the purposes of more tax revenue. Nope. FU Trump.
