Earlier today we carried the news about Michele Bachmann's uncharacteristically meek acceptance of the MSM spin on Obama's eligibility. When confronted by George Stephanopolous waving one of theos dubious documents we've seen called a "birth certificate", and Stephanopolous' challenge that "it's good enough for any US courtroom," Bachmann backed down and said " I guess that would settle the issue."
You'd think that someone who sees themselves as a serious contender for the GOP presidential nomination would be ready for Stephanopolous, the same guy who gently reminded Obama that he's not a Muslim during a campaign interview gaffe that could have cost him the Presidency, but she wasn't. Aside from the obvious fact that that statement pretty much puts an end to Bachmann's hopes of distinguishing herself from the Republican Castrati crowd that's bumbling and stumbling towards the primaries, and, therefore, most likely her hopes of winning the GOP nomination, she failed to take the opportunity to detail for Stephanopolous some of the other questions about Obama's eligibility that deserve an answer.
I decided to list a few of them....

Hell, even our trolls know more than her.
J.C.!
The only place in a courtroom where that piece of trash (”Certification of Live Birth”) would be usable would be the restroom!
I can’t even renew a drivers license with such a thing, as I found out last week.
If she is that easily intimidated by the likes of sissy Steffy-—wow, SCARY!
Michele oviously didn’t watch TheDonald to see how to handle the little prick.
She totally blew it. So long, Michelle.
Next time ask Stephy about his toupe.
Maybe she’s showing what it’s like to fight like a girl....
Give her a break. She is GOP. Poor things. They are clueless.
Sounds like the old line GOP RINOs got to her...she’s entering the “capitulation zone”.
Not a one of them can handle a give and take. They’re either uninformed, intimidated, or both.
Right. Even trumpsters have her beat on this issue. What’s troubling is this - even if obama produced a valid birth certificate that he was born in Hawaii what about his father’s citizenship? At a minimum isn’t this issue still somewhat of a question?
I have no agenda or strong opinion other than all these elected officials are incredibly sloppy regarding rules to become president. Yet the IRS has thousands f pages of rules to describe my slavery to the government and I have to provide all kinds of minutae.
Its like there are different rules for these gods (officials) and the rest of us. They are too “good” to have to even prove eligibility for the highest office in the world. This simply is unacceptable and must be dealt with.
I am wishing Ron Paul would dump the GOP and run Liberatarian. I am disgusted that I helped the take back the House.
Yep...send a lil’ ol’ gal to do a man’s job and...guess what?
Together with the Concord confusion I don’t see how she can stay in the fray.
Bottom line, Rove is advising her campaign and Rove told her to drop it.
She’s toast - at least in my book.
I want the truth about Obama’s life but the term “birther” has come to mean blithering idiot to me. Turning on Bachmann because she doesn’t want to get distracted by the media and others is damn stupid. Use some friggin’ commonsense, people. Geez
If the issue is so damned important to you, YOU DO IT!
Expect a pile of birthers to jump off the roof if Obama wins again and beats a birther.
