It's been in the back of my mind now that there are certain dates throughout the year that The Almighty uses as lynchpins for his purposes. God does not play dice, as we've been told. This is not to say that human decisions do not cause less-than-earth-shaking events, or that random chance does not exist, or that coincidences on a grand scale don't happen, because they do.
However, it is obvious that God prefers certain days to orchestrate historic events that are, shall I say, "plotline resolutions", where several building threads meet. Let's look at today in history - I'll cherry pick a few notable events to illustrate.
1559 – John Knox returns from exile to Scotland to become the leader of the beginning Scottish Reformation.

It was part of the wider European Protestant Reformation; and in Scotland's case culminated ecclesiastically in the re-establishment of the church along Reformed lines, and politically in the triumph of English influence over that of the Kingdom of France.
The Reformation Parliament of 1560, which repudiated the pope's authority, forbade the celebration of the Mass and approved a Protestant Confession of Faith, was made possible by a revolution against French hegemony. Prior to that, Scotland was under the regime of the regent Mary of Guise, who had governed in the name of her absent daughter Mary, Queen of Scots (then also Queen of France).
The Scottish Reformation decisively shaped the Church of Scotland[1] and, through it, all other Presbyterian churches worldwide.
1611 – King James Bible is published for the first time in London, England, by printer Robert Barker.

1945 – World War II: Fall of Berlin: The Soviet Union announces the capture of Berlin and Soviet soldiers hoist their red flag over the Reichstag building.
1945 – World War II: Italian Campaign – General Heinrich von Vietinghoff signs the official instrument of surrender of all Wehrmacht forces in Italy.
1945 – World War II: The US 82nd Airborne Division liberates Wöbbelin concentration camp finding 1000 dead inmates, most starved to death.

2011 – Osama Bin Laden, the "mastermind behind the September 11 attacks", is killed by an American military mission in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

I don’t want to dampen your enthusiasm, but I think you could pick any random date, look at the things that have occured on it, and draw significance.
On this day in 1863, Stonewall Jackson was accidentally shot by his own men during the battle of Chancellorsville. He didn’t die until several days later.
While you are musing there is something Else to consider. Just like the “dates” of early history are removed from the actual positions of stars and earth our ways of looking at this is different from that of the adversary.
