Most Republicans Believe Trump's Candidacy Is A Publicity Stunt
Elephant Watcher ^ | May 8, 2011

"Since his "media honeymoon" ended a few weeks ago, it seems Trump has been the recipient of a never-ending supply of bad news: Polls showing Republicans opposed to him, polls showing the general electorate opposed to him, polls showing his New Hampshire competitor Romney with much better poll numbers than his, fumbling during interviews, being mocked at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, and a failure to pivot off of the birth certificate issue...."

Really?

They must be listening to the news way too much without getting into the real "beef" of what Trump is all about. /MS

There were a series of things that have knocked the Trumpster off the radar...Obama’s birth certificate...being ridiculed at the Press dinner...his use of the “F” word...
and now the killing of OBL.

Perhaps, this week we will see him re-emerge. He was best so far at sticking it to Obama.

The polls against him right now could change if he comes out strong again.

No, don’t believe this bs either!

It’s no longer just the faux fourth estate “news”—is it spilling over online now!!!!!

God help us when we cannot believe anything online either!

Trump was fun for awhile but few conservatives (including this one) bought his alleged political ‘conversion’ and few Americans thought he was serious about being a presidential candidate. However, Trump could have a ‘resurrection’ once the bin Laden furor dies down. If so, he’ll have to do better than just attack Obama and offer amorphous policy statements. We have plenty of that already, thanks.

Polls are a liberal tactic to convince us of what they can’t convince us through their ‘news’. It’s another form of propaganda.

Blog pimp alert.

Not that I usually care but I'll make an exception to this one.

Trump, a marginally (at best) conservative form of Obama.

I think he’s doing it for publicity plus options depending on how things go. In other words, I think he’s keeping the option of SERIOUSLY being president if it looks like he has a chance.

Blogs are the new media.
Everything on blogs is awesome and exact. Resistance is futile.

Some of us never needed polls to convince us not to take Trump seriously.

Nonsense. Patriot Trump is working for AMERICA.

Other pseudo-Republicans like Rove and Romney
are working for Obama and al Qaeda.

Yes, ....Rush has warned us many times that the **only** reliable polls are those 3 or less days before an election. These count because the reputation of the polling firm is on the line.

I don’t think he ever had any intentions of running.
He’s just fed up with the Marxist/Muslim usurper like the rest of us, and decided to poke him in the a$$ a bit.
I say more power to him. He’s been the only one with the guts to go after the ‘magic negro’.

I guess we will find out after May 21st when “Apprentice” ends. I was loving the way Trump just takes it to Barry. Not to mention just making those MSM anchor’s froth at the mouth.

Trump has something more up his sleeve—I bet he will enter the race -—at least for a time before he’s knocked out in the early primary’s -—In the end this could help him. He has something else planned to un-mask Obama and help bring him down. He might be doing it to help Hillary—an old friend, or Sarah Palin, a new friend. Or maybe both! In the end he will help America (and himself).
