Well I’m not from Oklahoma, so I’ll let them deal with the insults about NY conservatives being smarter than Oklahoma conservatives.

And I’m all for a little friendly competition to help raise funds. But to say that population is not a fact that matters when comparing states is, well, just, um — I’m not sure where to start. Every single thing to do with business, politics, money, fund raising, football attendance, advertising. almost everything — is hugely dependent on population and demographic realities.

Amen. In NC, New Yorkers have descended in droves and decimated what was once a great place to live. The first thing they do when they move down here- after loudly and obnoxiously badmouthing all Southerners and mocking the way we live and talk- is to get involved in the local governments and screw it up to match the hellhole they escaped from.

Of course they may just be mad because we only have biscuits instead of a good HAAAAAAAAAAAARD roll.

Here comes the usual dilemma. If too many flee where they head will become of great concern to those they head too. Thus some states won’t welcome new people Like Kansas, Oklahoma. Bad enough that Kansas was actually losing people because, this state is 50% empty so no job here either.
