Sarah needs to park the bus in front of the cameras just as he’s getting ready to announce
Don’t forget, gun owners took a beating in the wallet from this guy. He raised the price on gun licenses. They went from $25 to $100.
"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

| "But the details of the event are more than unseemly - they may, in fact, be illegal. Massachusetts's animal cruelty laws specifically prohibit anyone from carrying an animal "in or upon a vehicle, or otherwise, in an unnecessarily cruel or inhuman manner or in a way and manner which might endanger the animal carried thereon. "An officer for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals responded to a description of the situation saying "it's definitely something I'd want to check out." The officer, Nadia Branca, declined to give a definitive opinion on whether Romney broke the law but did note that it's against state law to have a dog in an open bed of a pick-up truck, and "if the dog was being carried in a way that endangers it, that would be illegal."
"Dog on Roof? What Was It Like for Romney's Pooch? - Scientists Say Dog Likely Experienced Wind-Whipped, Uncomfortable Trip - "Before beginning the drive, Mitt Romney put Seamus, the family's hulking Irish setter, in a dog carrier and attached it to the station wagon's roof rack. e'd built a windshield for the carrier, to make the ride more comfortable for the dog,".. Jordan Kaplan, the owner of Petaholics, a dog walking service in New York City,
"Romney's dog - This is a distinction Mitt Romney probably could do without, but he is surely the first presidential candidate to be attacked for putting a dog with diarrhea in a carrier and tying it to the top of a station wagon. Romney's defense: Seamus liked it. [like the citizens under Romney's RomneyCARE, etc.?] "
"As the oldest son, Tagg Romney commandeered the way-back of the wagon, keeping his eyes fixed out the rear window, where he glimpsed the first sign of trouble. ''Dad!'' he yelled. ''Gross!'' A brown liquid was dripping down the back window, payback from an Irish setter who'd been riding on the roof in the wind for hours. As the rest of the boys joined in the howls of disgust, Romney coolly pulled off the highway and into a service station. There, he borrowed a hose, washed down Seamus and the car, then hopped back onto the highway."
Romney's bad behavior Exposed by Seamus
"Romney Loses Nomination Over Dog Abuse? - Romney was traveling that summer with his wife, five sons, and Seamus to his parent's cottage on Lake Huron. But hours into the ride, Seamus apparently suffered diarrhea, which ran down the back window of the car. .David Kravitz wrote on BlueMassGroup, a liberal blog. "It also strikes me as classic Romney: it solves a problem efficiently, in a business-like manner, and with no regard whatsoever for the suffering that the solution may cause."
I read the title and KNEW this was a great thread to start my day - LOL!
I thought it was physically impossible....but mcromney sucks and blows at the same time
A huge amount of thrust will be put behind Willard Mitt Romney by the “regular” Republicans, as a means to thwart the resurgent T.E.A. patriots, of whom the “regulars” are deathly afraid. And we ARE taxed enough already, as if the establishment cannot grasp that one simple fact. Not only taxed, but regulated to the point of micromanagement, with non-compliance punished by wholly disproportionate fines and prison sentences, for MINOR infractions. But the big lawbreakers, so long as they continue to pay tribute to the establishment by bribe money used for “campaigns”, there is no public humiliation or outcry.
Mitt’s father George Romney once ran for President, too, in 1964. Soundly trounced in the polls by Barry Goldwater, who then faced the most negative campaign against him since the guy who ran against Adolf Hitler in 1933. EVERY scurrilous rumor about Goldwater was widely trumpeted, while any message from Goldwater was simply buried or ignored.
George simply took his ball and went home, rather than defend Goldwater in any way.
I know, kids. I was there.
“Romney proclaimed a Massachusetts “Youth Gay Pride Day””
The most disgusting of all.
I wish Romney would just go away. He’s obviously too stupid or narcisistic to realize that the media would love for him to be Obama’s opponent, and will do everything they can to make it happen to ensure that the GOP gets another milquetoast loser like McCain.
That’s one of his hidden taxes... there were no costs to the state in issuing those licenses, that’s a TAX
The dishonesty inherent in the claims he didn’t raise taxes is reason enough forget about Romney in 2012, but we’ve got plenty others don’t we- and sounds like you witnessed his performance, or lack of it, from the front tow, RWWfrM
Terrible, proven-bad Gov. Romney, in another of his hit and runs
managed to even raise taxes on New Hampshire residents
while Gov. of Massachusetts.
Believe it or not.
How Romney is that?
“The fact is that Mitt Romney is an unprincipled chameleon with ZERO core beliefs”
Ah, you just come up with one of the best definitions of politician I have ever seen?
Thank you kindly, FM
Well, I’m less than enthralled, let me tell you that!
He might get the nomination, which is the scary thing. I’d put his odds at 50-50.
Simply put, when comparing his current statements against his historical record, the man simply can not be trusted.
He is a political-prostitute. He can only be trusted to tell you what he thinks you want to hear. He is nothing more than a “Herb Tarlek” politician.
No wonder the libtards want this fool to run against Obambi. I’m really surprised that he doesn’t run as a democrat. Romney is a good, solid, unrepentant liberal democrat. Get the hell out of our party.
Unfortunately, I agree with you. I'm hoping that awkward moment when he announces his campaign and everyone ignores it, because they have a patriotic conservative to watch instead, will change that perception. I suspect that's the point of Sarah's rapid progress to the north.
That’s exactly what I’m railing against- we need to stop this clown, best I can do is make sure as many people as possible know what Flipper’s really all about- and it’s got nothing to do with conservative principles AT ALL
In a truly crowded field, he’d be toast, IMO. But I think if it comes down to a 2 man race early (him and Palin?) , I’d say it’s 50-50. Take a look at the Primary schedule; you have the northeast states pretty early on, and so on.
Romneycare = Obamacare which = Big Government
Big Government = End of liberty = End of America
One way to give a third party a viable chance of winning is to have Romney as the Republican candidate.
Thank you for sharing. I am not sure if you have an agenda or not, but it would seem that you have presented a lot of good facts that can be verified and I appreciate that. I am really starting to freak out about this 2012 election. We have no one to put our hope in.
Why would I think any differently of Romney? We're going to defeat the left by defunding the left and defunding government, and Romney is in no way the man to do that.
Well put- you have to deal with the cards you’re dealt locally sometimes, I’ve lived in Blue States most of my life
