Palin Vacation “Dangerous” Says CBS
A Semi-News/Semi-Satire from AzConservative ^ | 4 June 2011 | John Semmens

Posted on 06/05/2011 11:19:24 AM PDT by John Semmens

Former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin’s family vacation tour of historic sites has attracted hordes of media attention—a situation that CBS News Producer Ryan Corsaro characterizes as “dangerous.”

“We’ve been provided with no schedule or itinerary,” Corsaro complained. “We’re forced to stalk her if we want to find out where she’s going and what she’s doing. It’s very aggravating, not to mention dangerous. Every network wants to be first in line to get the best picture, to be close enough to overhear every conversation. Media vehicles are racing with each other, tailgating, weaving in and out of traffic trying to beat out the competition—it’s scary and nerve wracking.”

Corsaro rebuffed suggestions that as an uninvited guest he was, perhaps, invading Ms. Palin’s privacy. “Palin is not a private person,” Corsaro maintained. “People want to know what she’s up to. It’s our duty to tell them. She’s being inconsiderate with us. If she continues with this attitude she shouldn’t be surprised if our coverage turns negative toward her.”

In related news, MSNBC commentator Chris Matthews called Palin “the most divisive figure in American politics since Abraham Lincoln. Just like Lincoln, she has no respect for how the game is supposed to be played. Her criticism of Mitt Romney on the day he announced his candidacy was an insult to an established protocol. As a private citizen I think she should keep her opinions about politics to herself.”

“We’ve been provided with no schedule or itinerary,”

Boo freakin' hoo. She's a private citizen and as such doesn't have to provide you with an itinerary. You're the ones stalking her and causing the problems. Funny, you claim she can't possibly win, yet you're falling all over yourselves to get a picture or a quote. Sarah is playing you like a fiddle, hahahaha! It's the age old strategy. Pretty gal gives a wink in your general direction and immediately walks away ignoring you. What happens next? You're scrambling and slobbering and begging for her to give you the time of day. Sarah has you all wrapped around her little finger. There's no escape. She will always win and you will always lose.

Yes, it’s satire but it’s true.

The simple desire of the Palin Heath family to have a Memorial Weekend Magical Mystery Tour reduced the State Owned Media to paparazzi.

“Their job is to report the news but somewhere along the line they’ve got the idea they ARE the news.”

Sort of the way some in law enforcement feel that they are the law. I’ve overheard a few mouth that very sentiment. Of course with video cameras everywhere now they don’t say it as much.

The ruling elite are loosing some of their grip.

I applaud Sarah’s strategy. The press must cover her, but she won’t do it on their terms. Eventually, IF they want to effectively cover her, they will have to moderate and stop “assasinating” her in their coverage. IF this is the strategy, it is smart.

And yet they decry her as a "media whore" who is "chasing every headline". Now they whine that they endanger themselves (note: not her doing), fighting each other for the chance to get to see her first.

Looks like the MSM slipped and allowed a little bit of truth to come out here.

The day that she gives the press her itinerary is the day protesters, tipped off by the commy press, will be at every stop and they will try to cause physical harm.

“As a private citizen, she should keep her opinions to herself”.

The hypocrisy is staggering here. He whines that she won't disclose her schedule, then cries that she's not keeping her opinion to herself. Attention moron: She's TRYING to leave you out of it, and you just admitted that you're endangering yourself by forcing yourself on her appearances. It is YOU that causes the danger, and it is YOU who is not keeping her opinions secret.

In reality, of course, this MSM goon is simply showing what we all know to be true. The MSM is unnecessary in the Internet age. They are endangering themselves just to try to stay relevant, and say that THEY broadcast her ideas. Clearly, she doesn't need them to do so... and clearly, they are causing problems and endangering people to try to keep pretending that they are relevant and necessary. This fool virtually laid that out in plain sight in 2 short paragraphs.

I think CBS employs far too many unstable personalities. It’s entirely possible that these people represent a grave and potentially physical threat to the well being, safety and health of Sarah Palin, her family and those who support her.
