I thought I would check out the Beeb’s reaction to the general consensus in the US media that the much vaunted NYT/WaPo “investigation” had spectacularly backfired.

For the seam reason Jon Stewart could find no humor in a member of congress named Weiner, that’s a digital flasher.

Instead, they got an exploding cigar the blew up in their stupid faces.
Refreshingly, the Telegraph has a piece stating that there are no “bombshells’ in the Palin e-mails.
