I don't think that this will come as a surprise to anyone: even though Anthony Weiner dressed up as a woman, sent obscene photos to various Twitter followers, and sent a message to a minor, liberals are mourning his coming departure.

The comments on the Weiner story on the NY Times website are equally of a parallel universe. One guy even talks about what “Republicans did to Clinton,” like they planted Monica in his office and then forced him to not have sex with that woman, as if Clinton had been just a victim of some nefarious Republican plot. Truly bizarre.
They truly live in an alternate reality. It’s really amazing!
I wouldn’t expect mentally impaired liberals to understand the implications of turning a blind eye toward the spiraling immorality of politicians in America. To them, anything is okay as long as it’s not done by a republican. Their hatred of republicans is only rivaled by their hatred of Christianity.
He was not going to resign until he had a profitable job secured. I’m sure they found someone willing to pay him with a job to resign.
