I always thought it was creepy the way Barack Hussein Obama has repeatedly referred to the likelihood of his being a one-term President. It is as if he knew, even as he campaigned in 2008, that all the loose ends and unanswered questions about his life would eventually disqualify him.
It is now widely acknowledged that the mainstream media ran interference for him, ignoring or disparaging those who questioned his eligibility.
After two and a half years in office, however, his arrogance and incompetence is so manifest that even they can no longer cover for him.
Obama has single handedly generated a mass political movement called the Tea Party and election results for governors and members of Congress have put opposition candidates into office.
On March 31, 1968, then-President Lyndon B. Johnson announced that he would not run for reelection, responding to the massive opposition to the war in Vietnam. On August 9, 1974, Richard M. Nixon announced his resignation in the wake of the Watergate scandal to avoid impeachment.
I predict that Barack Hussein Obama will resign before the end of his first term. He may well do so prior to the September 2012 Democratic Party convention.
Obama was never eligible to run for the office. In his book, Wheres the Birth Certificate? The Case that Barack Obama is Not Eligible to be President, Dr. Jerome R. Corsi, Phd, devotes 387 pages, complete with appendices and endnotes, to irrefutably make that case.
Anyone who reads Article 2, Section 1, of the Constitution, however, can make that case in less than a minute. Only a natural born individual whose both parents were American citizens can be President. Obamas father was a citizen of Kenya. There is no dispute regarding what the Founders meant when they said natural born.

No, you’re wrong. The Texas Darling blog was covering the issue extensively starting in April, 2008, clear up to the election in November.
Fusey is a very strange - uh, freeper. Did you check posting history? Odd, very odd.
Gun running.
Your plan is horrible. Won’t happen.
“I predict that Barack Hussein Obama will resign before the end of his first term. He may well do so prior to the September 2012 Democratic Party convention.”
That’s the line that got me ... if a resignation were to happen, which I doubt, it better be way before of the September ‘12 Democratic Party convention.
Look at how so many are worried that time is running out for Sarah Palin and Rick Perry to announce if they’re going to run in 17 months! But a sitting president could just up and resign before his party’s convention 2 months before the election ?
I was here on the earliest threads about Obama's qualifications. We started talking about in May 2008. The earliest discussions were about why he wouldn't release his birth certificate. Theories at the time were mostly that he was Muslim, and something on the birth certificate would indicate that. From there, it went to natural born, and finally, where he was born.
In the absence of Obama releasing any details, people filled in the blanks with their own theories. The "born in Kenya" angle was an attempt to knock off track the early questioners.
May 12, 2008: "His True Name Is Barak Hussein Muhammed Obama"
June 10, 2008: Obama isnt eligible to be President
June 10, 2008: Is Obama Leagally Qualified to be President?
June 12, 2008: Obama is eligible for the Presidency, he was born in the US.
There are plenty more, but this should be enough to make my point.

Probably because there are countries he hasn't visited yet, palaces he hasn't stayed at yet, delicacies he hasn't tried yet, all at the taxpayer's expense.

Remember it however you want, but I was here, and I know different. I was a voracious consumer of Obama eligibility threads from day one, until only recently.
Frankly, most of the now common elements of the Obama eligibility enigma were present from early on in the discussions. There were interminable arguments here about the meaning of Article II, Section I, as well as thread after thread about various birth certificates.
The speculation about his real place of birth wasn't confined to Kenya, either. From what I recall, the general consensus was that Obama was intentionally creating confusion and mystery about his provenance. No one knew where he was born, or if he was even a legal American citizen.
Reminds me of that old SNL skit,"The thing that never leaves."
Link?
The earliest I've found is dated 11 December 2008.
Texas Darling was going to great lengths to prove he wasn't born in the US. That would not have been necessary if the two-citizen parent meme were valid. After all, well before the election, everybody knew his daddy was a visitor from Kenya. He'd made a huge pile on a book about the very fact! But everybody also knew it wasn't relevant, since he was born in Honolulu.
It wasn't 'til a quack lawyer named Leo surfaced the two-citizen argument in December 2008 that the two-citizen argument took hold on FR, wasting huge quantities of bandwidth on copy-and-paste posts of obscure 18th-century blatherings.
If I'm wrong, it should be easy to post a link to an FR thread before the election.
I don’t think he will resign because of his eligibility but more so for the amount of bail out funds that can’t be traced (Freezer Money}and the laws he has skirted.
Never happen. His narcissism and huge ego and sense of self worth won’t allow him to quit early OR pass on a second term.
Plus, Moochie and mom will only give up the perks kicking and screaming.
Since I happen to know witnesses to his birth outside the U.S.A., don’t bother.
Texas Darling blog did a lot more than discuss whether he was or was not born in the U.S.A., among which was determine what “natural born Citizen” meant. So they did cover the two-citizen parent meme, and found it valid.
If there were, nobody here was arguing that natural born citizen means having two parents who are citizens. That argument didn't begin to be brought up until later, which makes the claim that it's obvious just from reading the Constitution kind of strange.
These four threads actually make the point that nobody was talking about the "two U.S. citizen parent" issue back in the Spring of '08.
The issue back then was that Obama was ineligible because he was born in Kenya. The only post I could find that NBC required two U.S. citizen parents in those four threads was in regards to McCain.
Obama never denied his parentage. If this two U.S. citizen parent "requirement" is so set in stone and not subject to debate, why was everyone back then chasing Kenyan birth certificates and Indonesian passport records?
I think I know the answer.
As was in common use during the days of the founders, the original definition clearly meant “one with no birth allegiance to any other nation-state”, which simply makes sense in the context of the constitutional requirements for POTUS. Further, why bother to mention/differentiate between “citizen” and “natural-born-citizen” in the same consitutional paragraph unless they *were* different terms?
However, the term has apparently been redefined at some point between the founding of this nation and the election of Obama to accommodate Obama’s credentials. I DO NOT agree with it, but neither can I otherwise explain the complete inaction by congress, any local/state/fed court justice or any local/state/fed prosecutor — *all* of which swore oaths to uphold the US Constitution.
Honestly, I can’t make any sense of the situation regardless. Boggles my mind.
>>...However you slice and dice it, the dems are finished as a party. They have shot their entire wad...<<
That would be nice, but you may be *seriously* underestimating all the millions of citizens who vote with their hand held out. Plus, Dems tend to embrace their screw-ups until their hand is forced (case in point: A. Weiner).
But the biggest prob we face is that about half of the voting populace is addicted to voting themselves gifts from the public treasury and the Dems will always be more than willing to give it to them regardless of the consequences to the country as a whole.
