The State of Georgias attempt to enforce the nations laws against illegal immigration has netted it a lawsuit filed by the government of Mexico.
It is the Mexican governments contention that the Georgia law unconstitutionally interferes with international commerce. The transport of people and commodities from Mexico to anywhere in the United States is a matter solely under the discretion of the United States federal government, said Juan Malhechor, Deputy Minister of Commerce for the Mexican government. The State of Georgia has no authority to interdict this trade.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) rndorsed the Mexican governments suit. The smuggling of persons or drugs into the United States is a matter under the jurisdiction of the federal government, ACLU spokesman Bertram Petty declared. Those traveling between nations or importing merchandise shouldnt have to deal with a patchwork of potentially contradictory state-imposed standards.
It is reported likely that the Obama Administration will also join the suit. The prerogative to enforce or ignore federal laws belongs to the federal government, US Attorney General Eric Holder asserted. It is not permissible for the states to enforce federal laws in contradiction to a federal policy abstaining from doing so.

I like how Holder chimes in and says that if the Feds refuse to enforce an EXISTING LAW than the states have no right to either. What a commie.

Why does the Mexicans government even have standing to sue an American state for trying to enforce immigration laws? If these bastards are going to interfere in our sovereign rights to protect our nation then we need to send them a bill for all the costs and damages caused by their citizens invading our country or declare war on them and clean that shit hole south of the border up so their own people will want to live in it again..

Why does the Mexicans government even have standing to sue an American state for trying to enforce immigration laws? They don't. Sam Houston saw to that.
