nope, she couldn't drag Mc Cain to victory against Hussein, why should I believe she wins on her own?

So it was up to her win the election when McCain was the "headliner"?

I've seen your types' before. And I think you bought into all the PDS hype.

Am I wrong?

MY types? No, Mccain was a war hero who was also a squishy “moderate”. Palin was chosen to shore up the base. We got our asses handed to us by a guy named Hussein. So who will vote for Palin above those that voted for her and McCain?

Look. Just tell me how she wins on her own? She doesn’t.

Palin endorsing JM was not “ass-kicking” — it was political.

Who are you talking to? I never said anything about "ass kicking". Are you sure you're not responding to the wrong poster?

In our last exchange, you claimed to have been making the point that
"Palin has a savvy, politically astute and wily presence..."
, although your earlier comment was,
"so why did she endorse John McCain?"

I can't figure out how those two comments square with one another, and I indicated that to you in my last post.

Frankly, I don't understand what point you're trying to make.

Look. Just tell me how she wins on her own?

16% REAL unemployment.

A sitting President by-passing congress to enact regulations through "agencies", (like the EPA).

The economy in the tank.

Cutting benefits to our military...(this is real....I know!)

Bottom line... he's a Dumb-ass who got elected because he's a half-black selected candidate who appealled to the "American "Idle" crowd!

Anyway..I could go on. Hope you will see the light. I did in 1979 when Reagan ran.

Have a great holiday!

Yes, you are right. My initial post was to respond to another poster (see post #6 “Palin would kick Joan of Arc’s ass.”) Since you responded (out of the blue I might add), I assumed (acting stupidly again) you were the poster at #6. So there you go — case of mistaken identity. The point I am trying desperately to make is that Palin is not ALWAYS the saint of the day. She is smart, yes, and more POLITICALLY SAVVY than most want to give her credit for. If she were not such a POLITICAL animal, she would not have endorsed McCain for the Senate seat. I feel like I am shouting. How much plainer can I state the case?

then why did she endorse John McCain?

Because she wanted to.

“She was supposed to bring in the conservative vote for McNasty and she didn’t.”

Huh? What election were you watching? She brought the conservative vote... but McCain’s precious moderates and independents all flocked to the snake oil salesman.

Weird thing to say, she is pretty famous for someone of 600 years ago. I have three or more movies made of her life.

Palin brought in this conservative. I would have never voted for Mcnasty without her.

McCain lost it on his own. Don't even try to blame Palin for his being an awful candidate.

Yes, you are right. My initial post was to respond to another poster...

Alright, cool. Glad we got that out of the way. I had a feeling that more than one conversation was going on here.

The point I am trying desperately to make is that Palin is not ALWAYS the saint of the day. She is smart, yes, and more POLITICALLY SAVVY than most want to give her credit for.

Agreed, although I disagree about the saintly part (just kidding!).

If it weren't for the MSM working tirelessly to create the image in the public's mind that Sarah is a mental lightweight, it wouldn't exist. The terror that those in the political and propaganda class are in, would infect the entire left - and they just cannot have that. They simply have to use every tool at their disposal to paint a caricature of Palin that is easily digested by their already heavily indoctrinated pawns.

This is why it's so important for Palin to bypass the establishment media to get her message out, and to provide a bridge for the public to get to know her as she really is.

If she were not such a POLITICAL animal, she would not have endorsed McCain for the Senate seat.

That had nothing to do with politics. There wasn't a single thing to be gained by Sarah in giving her valuable endorsement to McCain. In fact, she risked losing the support of many people on the right for doing so, and that is precisely what happened.

Sarah gave her endorsement to McCain out of a sense of obligation to him. He was responsible for elevating her to the national stage, and she had been his running mate. McCain knows Sarah well enough to know that if he asked for her endorsement, that her sense of moral justness would compel her to support him in turn, which she did, despite the damage it did to her reputation among some of her supporters.

The ugliest thing about that, is that McCain knew full well that he was asking her to risk damage to her own reputation on his behalf. He's been in the political game long enough, that he was no doubt keenly aware of what a huge sacrifice she was making. And he did it anyway.

Now, what does that say about the sort of moral fiber McCain is made of? Obviously, it shows that he's a callous, uncaring lout, whose only concern is for his own worthless political hide. He doesn't get Sarah Palin, and likely doesn't care a whit that he compelled one of this nation's finest patriot leaders to bring injury upon herself for his benefit, and his alone.

I feel like I am shouting. How much plainer can I state the case?

Well, you finally cleared up every point you were trying to make, so you're past the need to shout or stress out on it now.

Alright. Carry on, but do remember what I said about growing that hide. It'll make your experience here a lot more enjoyable.

It would have been a bloodbath without Palin, and in 2010 she helped lead us to one of the greatest political sweeps in our history.

Even in December of 2008 Sarah was working to elect Republicans as she came out of the election fighting to energize demoralized conservatives.

December 2, 2008
“Newly reelected Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) credited Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin with firing up his base and allowing him to cruise to a victory over Democrat Jim Martin.”

“Sarah Palin came in on the last day, did a fly-around and, man, she was dynamite,” Chambliss told Fox News on Wednesday. “We packed the houses everywhere we went. And it really did allow us to peak and get our base fired up.”

If the Lord Jesus Christ Himself had returned for the second time and decided to run against Hussein, Hussein still would’ve won that election. He is a media creation.

Bottom line..Palin is a loser. She was supposed to bring in the conservative vote for McNasty and she didn't. We git our asses handed to us. If she couldn't drag McCain across the line against a guy named Hussein she ain't winning. Jump on the Perry bandwagon.

If you want to endorse Perry, just come out and do it. Taking shots at Palin, for following the "plan" that the McPain team had, is either cheap, uninformed, or both. They muzzled her - probably to keep her from outshining McCain.
