No matter what the actual merits of that article are, the title alone is enough to draw PDSers from all directions.

Guns up! Incoming!

Lord, you are a newbie, aren't you? Even our resident PDS squad has dropped that liberal talking point.

I think you got me wrong. I don’t like being attacked personally — I was trying to make the point that Palin has a savvy, politically astute and wily presence that she should not try to hide as an “aw shucks” country road persona. You may think I’m an idiot. That’s fine. Just as many make the mistake of thinking Palin an idiot when she’s DEFINITELY NOT.
Pax and bonum.

You considered that a personal attack? Friend, you're going to have to grow some hide, if you want to hang with this crowd. What I said to you was mild by FR standards.

I was trying to make the point that Palin has a savvy, politically astute and wily presence that she should not try to hide as an “aw shucks” country road persona.

No, you weren't. You said (and I quote): "then why did she endorse John McCain?"

That's a worn out liberal attack point that has been posted to this forum a thousand times, and which has been knocked down just as often. Anyone spouting that on this forum today, is instantly suspect as a liberal, or some sort of paid plant.

You may think I’m an idiot. That’s fine. Just as many make the mistake of thinking Palin an idiot when she’s DEFINITELY NOT.

I may have called you a newbie, but I never implied that you were an idiot. Don't make that assumption.

Alright. You might want to spend a bit of time getting the flavor of this place before jumping in with both feet, but if you're the courageous sort, be my guest. You may get a few bumps and bruises along the way, but if you grow that hide I mentioned, you'll be fine.

Peace to you, too. WF

Bottom line..Palin is a loser. She was supposed to bring in the conservative vote for McNasty and she didn't. We git our asses handed to us. If she couldn't drag McCain across the line against a guy named Hussein she ain't winning. Jump on the Perry bandwagon.

Kinda hard to glean that from "then why did she endorse McCain.?"

nope, she couldn't drag Mc Cain to victory against Hussein, why should I believe she wins on her own?

Palin endorsing JM was not “ass-kicking” — it was political.
Palin endorsing JD Hayworth would have been outrageously courageous (the persona we all love). That is the ONLY point I was (acting stupidly) trying to make. Go ahead — make my day.
