Now the President is outraged because the GOP House leadership called his bluff and ended discussions with him because they deemed him an obstruction to any real solution to the debt crisis.
He has been deemed a lame duck president. And he is angry now because he is being treated as such.
His foreign policy strategy has been described as “leading from behind.” Well, that’s his domestic policy strategy as well. Why should he be surprised that he’s been left behind in the negotiations when he’s been leading from behind on this debt crisis?
Thank you, GOP House leaders. Please don’t get wobbly on us now.

Boehner has shown more balls than any Congressional leader in the GOP within living memory.
Even if they're prosthetic, it's still a huge improvement.
DeMint is saying he needs concentrated phone calls & emails to convince the rest of Congress that America is behind them through the media-induced-lying-through-their-teeth-fog-of-war.

Men were intended to be providers and protectors.
Women were intended to be nurturers and nesters.
Thus, providers required logic; nurturers required emotion.

Well, I've read a lot of her 24,000 e-mails and I've read your posts; there's no comparison; none at all....your couldn't write as well, if your life depended on it.

Yes, her use of the "lame duck" phrase really was a brilliant tactic and something YOU would NEVER have come up with. OTOH, it IS the very kind of thing that Palin has done before, with great success.

No, he doesn't need phony phone call in support, we needs to win the war of words (and passed bills helping) so he gets real support by the voters needed to win the next election. Only then will Obama cave. If Boehner caves on this, or he loses the House, that IS losing. That is all that matters.
Obama will sign ANYTHING that reaches his desk with this congress. Want to win ?? Send him a bill he said he wouldnt sign, send the Senate debt extension bills with cuts and accuse Democrats of 'trying to destroy the economy' for blocking them..but STOP 'negotiating' with those that are not serious like Obama.

While I dont blame this all on Boehner, to the extent he hasnt caved he hasnt found the R+D votes to cave yet. The fact that Obama keeps saying the Tea Party is holding Boehner hostage is not a sign of B's strength.
