Saudis own Obama & Fox News
Stop Obama Now - San Diego ^ | 10/19/2011 | Roger-SD

Posted on 08/19/2011 4:12:00 PM PDT by Roger-SD

A spike in the price of oil, the spigot of which is largely controlled by the Saudis, was instrumental in the financial collapse which resulted in the election of Obama as president. At the same time, a Saudi Prince, pulls the strings at Fox News, though he is nominally not the largest shareholder. He saved them from a hostile takeover and continues to provide protection. This provides a leash on Fox News to prevent them from becoming too aggressive in their attacks on Obama. Notice that Fox News does not support Obama's impeachment/removal and their commentators have openly openly mocked such attempts by others. This note outlines some of the details.

Up until about 6 months ago the World news on Foxnews.com was pretty reliable. Now it’s practically non-existent, especially in regards to the WOT. Hmmm. I go elsewhere.

It’s not how many shares the own, but the Saudi son of a bitch has about $40B and has publicly voiced support for Murdoch. This prevents any other companies from trying to attempt a hostile takeover of News Corp, the parent company. Murdoch owes his chairmanship to the Saudi Prince. Murdoch himself is a globalist and America is just an imaginary line on the maps to this pair. Yet people are naive enough to believe that Fox is “America’s News Channel.” Ridiculous.

I few years ago an American company attempted a hostile takeover of News Corp, ironically named “Liberty Media.” The Saudi Prince intervened to stop the hostile takeover. It’s not just his wealth that protects them, but people know he is backed by the Saudi King. No one is going to be dumb enough to bid against Prince Alwaleed, no matter how few shares he may own. It’s just a signal that anyone that wants to take on his boy, Murdoch, has to go though him.

He hated all TV and especially TV news. He was always right about that but, he was like a broken record. LOL

Fox News does not support Obama's impeachment/removal and their commentators have openly openly mocked such attempts by others.

Which means they are sane, not controlled by the Saudis. Impeachment is for "high crimes and misdemenors", not policy, however horrible. Operation Fast and Furious might be legal grounds for impeachement if he could be proven to have OKed it, but politically it would never happen, and might get him reelected in a sympathy backlash.

The Marxist will soon control all of the media.
FOX is just a small bone that they throw to us, but the meat
will become more and more scarce.

I finally got satellite service that has FOX, and no CNN or BBC, thank God, but I find myself watching only to get headlines and breaking news.
I have no interest in watching that fat lardo with suspenders
or any of the other talking heads.

I stick to Rush and Savage, that I get from internet, for commentary.

Rupert Murdoch owns Fox.

Lie down for a minute and get over it.

Murdoch is the biggest shareholder, but he controls Fox in partnership with the Saudi Prince and he would not be Chairman, if it weren’t for his Saudi support. That is just a matter of public record, no matter how much wishful thinking people want to engage in. Murdoch, himself, has no loyalty to America. His concern is building his global empire. Yet some people are still dumb enough to think that Fox is looking out for the “folks.” Stupid is as stupid does.

It’s widely believed mistakenly that impeachment is like a criminal trial. There is no list of impeachable crimes. If that is what is is they would have made one. “Misdemeanor” can mean minor crimes or simply “misbehavior.” Gerald Ford wrote an opinion in the 1970’s that Congress can impeach and convict for just about any reason they want. You never know, if it is possible if people are too timid (or corrupted) to advocate it. That said, waging war without a mandate, arming drug bandits and not enforcing DOMA all seem quite impeachable. There is value in asserting the truth, whether you think the Senate will convict or not. People that advocate not mentioning these things are really just boot-licks and appeasers IMHO.

Just because they are all pigs, does that mean you have to marry up to the one that is least unattractive? You can watch anything, I am just saying people should not be naive about Fox. I personally leave it off much of the time. They put on way too much garbage. You can learn from Drudge and Breitbart in 20 minutes, what it takes you all day to get out of Fox.

This is true.

We cancelled TV 2 months ago. I thought I would really miss FNC. I rarely even go to their website and when I do, I already know the important items. The rest is filler.

Drudge, a few blogs, FR, Telegraph, Daily Mail and I even get more than my fill of inconsequential trivia. Rush is there if I need background sound. The markets and weather are available and take a few minutes to digest, with no need for commentary or constant updating. Roku Newscaster has the previous night’s newscast or the entire NBC Sunday news program or various podcasts from any news channel if it is really necessary.

Fox News is just constant fake !ALERTS! designed to keep your adrenaline pumping.
