Glenn Beck wonders if Jimmy Hoffa Jr. put a little too much back yesterday before getting on stage and saying "Let's take these son of a bitches out!": (VIDEO)

TOPICS:
KEYWORDS: beck; drunk; fatdrunkandstupid; glennbeck; hoffa; michigan; slur; slurringwords
Hoffa slurs his words the worst when he says the word Michigan; here:

The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what, they’ve got a war, they’ve got a war with us and there is only going to be one winner. It is going to be the workers of Michigan and America – we are going to win that war

I just thought it was some weird mid-western accent...

There is a very specific accent here but that ain't it. Generally its called "Inland Northeastern" but there is an even more specific southeastern Michigan / Northwestern Ohio accent that resulted from the influx of southerners in the 40s and 50s.

making the slurry lush impression was OK for a short time, but, as he often does, carried it on much too long. I finally cut the car radio off for 5-10 minutes but he was still doing it. He has an unfortunate tendency to carry on like that with uninteresting topics.

He has good reason to be hitting the bottle because they’re losing even here in Mishugun. They must have spent $50 million dollars in the election last year and lost it all.

He needs to he held accountable, and obama needs to be called on for his silence on the matter.

They democrats have almost totally ruined the State of Michigan.

Everything they touch turns to garbage. It amazes me how people will watch the decay and turn around and vote for them anyway.

For all the democrats promise people, nothing ever gets any better.

——————I hope people aren’t considering giving Junior a pass based on the possibility he was drunk.-——————

I’m certainly not. Hoffa doesn’t get any pass. Not for what he said, and not for the disaster that is Michigan either.

I’m just poking fun. I heard the audio mid day and that was what first came to mind. I wasn’t the only one who noticed.

The democrats have almost totally ruined the State of Michigan.

True but the GOP has full ownership now. Governor, secretary of state, attorney general, both houses of the legislature, state supreme court, and a majority of US representatives.

The unions are angry because they feel like they've been brutalized. First thing this spring we totally eliminated one 20,000 member union. Even some of the democrats have turned on them.

They were mentioning on the Howie Carr show that Hoffa Jr. sounded an awful lot like Joe Namath when he was drunk on Monday Night Football during the Patriots/Jets game. Ironically, the Jets home field was where Hoffa Jr's father is reputed to have been buried - somewhere out on the 30-yard line.

For all the democrats promise people, nothing ever gets any better.

They corral and brainwash their voters by blaming their own problems on others. Examples.

Lets have a war with the Tea Party because they started this war on workers (ie - they caused your loss of employment, not us).

The Tea Party can go to hell (ie - the last stimulus did not fail we actually just need a trillion more).

The unions are the only ones keeping the barbarians outside the gates (ie - ignore massive historic unemployment, we must keep the Tea Party standing outside the gates).

Re: ""Wheres the /s ???"

Heh-heh. No sarcasm here. There is a huge difference between an alcholic still in denial, and one that has accepted his addiction and is doing something about it. In this case, I think Beck is correct.

You were speaking of Beck and you had said “Trust his judgement.”

There is so much evident in Becks past and present life to cause one to doubt his judgement...

His mind is not exactly stable...
