The word (a reliable historical report reported on these very pages) has been that this "Hillary" person was born in the waning hours of WWII inside a downtown Berlin bunker, and given the name Hildegarde Braun, then rescued by brave American GIs, transported to the States and adopted by a kindly childless Chicago couple named Rodham. He was Governor of Tennessee. He had to be somewhat centrist. So do the Republicans. Lamar Alexander, and Bob Corker are examples of that.
He’s as left as any of them. His wife is a Hillary wannabe.
There are no decent Democrats. Anywhere.

I did find it interesting watching the audience during the ‘speech’...
Hillary was half-heatedly clapping and the look on her face wasn’t one of support or admiration. She seemed fairly disgusted or at the very least...unimpressed.
I saw a shot of Kerry and he was doing a very slow, uninterested clap and he was quite quick to sit right back down—he was seated before others around him had even started to sit.
The shot of Pelosi was her talking to someone and if we could find that clip, it would be easy to read her lips. It didn’t look like she was saying nice things. Maybe it was about republicans or maybe Obama?
Michelle didn’t seem like a happy camper and she hasn’t for weeks, marital problems would be extra pressure/stress on Obama and that is good in my opinion.
Anyhow, I am thinking the belief in him and the days of being *The One* look to be over. His fans are quietly looking for the exits now.

Don’t misunderstand, I’m not championing Bredesen. What I am saying is that if the Dems nominated someone like him, the moderates would surely get suckered in, particularly if the GOP screws up and nominates RINO Romney. Bredesen is one governor who could go toe to toe with him on health care. Don’t forget that lots of people who call themselves Republicans voted for Bredesen in TN.
He would beat Romney.
