It's official. Barack Obama has given up even pretending to be the President of the United States and is singularly focused on being a presidential candidate. His American Jobs Act turned out to be $447 billion worth of short term projects and gimmicks that even many of his fellow Democrats can't support. Now he's proposing to raise taxes on almost half a million wealthy Americans; an attempt to fan the flames of class warfare that may temporarily appease his base but, if implemented, would do serious damage to an already dismal economy.
Nicknamed the Buffett Rule, the president's latest scheme to be officially released tomorrow would contain a new tax rate for people earning more than one million dollars per year (approximately 450,000 individuals). In keeping with Mr. Obama's career-long practice of providing minimal information in an attempt to avoid political fallout for future failure, he will not provide a specific rate or any other details of the Buffett Rule preferring to leave it to Congress to figure out the specifics.

Der Fuehrer will base it on gross income which means that small businesses that have an income of 1 million BEFORE taxes, payroll and other expenses are met will be raped, pillaged and burned. Any new tax rates will have little to no effect on the Buffets, movie stars, the sports stars and other elite who support him and contribute to him. “We protect and shelter our own while screwing the rest.” has always been a major tenent of the democrat party.

0bummer is calling his tax the rich plan the “Buffet rule”
Guess he doesn’t know we know that buffet has spent millions and has ongoing legal suits with the IRS on his tax bills. He’s had like 20 attorneys working on it full time last 10 years or so.
I don’t hold that against Buffet but it makes his statements about not paying enough taxes look pretty disingenuous and self serving then to base policy on such statements, well then we get to the level of 0’s brinkmanship and political gaming playing.
