I agree with everything you said about why we have the labor situation we have. Add that to a porous border and a bad Mexican economy for 50 years, and you have what we have.

But, we do have it, and it will not unwind quickly without a major disruption in our entire society. I believe it would unwind itself over a period of years to decades quietly and without any disruption if we would simply do the following:
A: secure the border
B: stop the hand outs
C: deport those when arrested
D: reduce unemployment benefits

I’ll guarantee if we did that for ten years, we’d not have this issue anywhere near the top of the heap.

“We already have a moat full of alligators.
It’s called the Rio Grande.” Then feed the blasted things gunpowder, give them rabies, cross breed them with piranas and fix this mess...If Americans get hungry enough they will mow grass or dig ditches.. I pay an AMERICAN to mow my grass (because I am lazy and don’t want to). We need to cut off the faucet of section 8 housing, ebt cards, free dental braces, and drug test all welfare clients.

Hey, buddy, I do my own yard work; and my own home repairs; and every poor SOB on my block does the same thing. So don’t pull that shit with me about us not wanting to do such work. We’ve always done it, and we always will. It has nothing to do with money; it has everything to do with taking care of hearth and home and families ourselves. It’s just what we do. And we’d not want it any other way.

So how’s that “greater of two evils” working out for you?

Personally, I hope Christie does jump in. He can finally be vetted and discarded as a Conservative. Maybe they will get him out of their system once and for all. Same thing with Jebbie, Bobby, et al!

I think Sarah’s waiting to be the last ‘man’ in. She has said, several times, there will be more jumping in. That way she can beat them all and leave no doubt in anyone’s mind !!

I like Rick, but he lost by double-digits to Bob Casey, the second stupidest person in the U.S. Senate.

He would easily be the stupidest if not for Patty Murray. IT galls me to no end that Casey beat Santorum, especially after Santorum cleaned his clock in every single debate. It doesn't speak well for Pennsylvania voters. I really wish Santorum would run for Jim Webb's seat in Virginia.

Calm down there Mr. Dirty Jobs. I’m not talking about people taking care of their own neighborhoods, I’m talking about the commercial landscaping industry, the vegetable industry, the hotel industry, the fast food industry, etc.

So, do you and your macho buds want to all go get jobs doing all of that? Will you change bed sheets or pick strawberrys 40 hours a week? Do you know anyone who will? Have you taken 15 thousand applications in the unskilled labor market in the past 20 years?

I didnt’ think so.

I live in Texas.

Yes, these kids are here because their parents brought or had them here. I still don't see a reason to reward them...with ANY incentives.

No, I don't think the illegal parents are moving here at least 3 years before their kids' graduate from HS. I think they moved here long before that and have had the benefit of our other rewards and incentive programs.

ROFLOL about that.

You can’t be AGAINST illegal immigration and proudly dangle free higher education to law breaking foreign nationals in Texas. Period!

The only way to halt illegal aliens fromeven WANTING to come here is to revoke their reservation at the public trough completely. Come in the FRONT door legally or not one thin dime of assistance from any level of government! No welfare. No food stamps. No education (my god, how our schools are broke because of them). No job either—JAIL every employer.

This social benevolence is KILLING America and is nothing but a liberal vote mill today!

They do run neck and neck in the stupid category. Then again, they couldn’t compete in the House for that honor....

This is a filing by IRCOT.
It is not a listing of actual law.

It is an opinion,or argument, and a poor one at that.

Watch the 2008 debates. Barry ran rings around McCain.

That's not saying much -- lol. They were painful to watch. McCain was pathetic.

Yes. One down. One to go. It’s time to give Romney the heave-ho.

I'm afraid it'll have the opposite effect: Perry's travails will leave a power vacuum that Romney will fill. Doing in Perry will leave Romney much stronger.

In a nation of 300 million people, don't you think we'd find enough to do those jobs for a living wage? If not, do you ask yourself why?

And do you really think its healthy to import another country's poverty stricken illiterates to fill those spots?

If not, why not?

So you have? Your descriptions of events are not consistent with American thinking.

Has anyone given Duncan Hunter a thought? He is a Representative from California and is the perfect conservative.

Please read about what he stands for here:

He is absolutely amazing.
