Britain's most prominent pro-family lawyer told activists they had better fight now or it will be too late.
His message was blunt: "You've got to stop this now in America while you still can."
Diamond compared today's U.S. society to Britain's in 1997. "We thought it was stable; we'd had centuries of religious tolerance," he said. Then in 1997 came a huge change in the political culture. "Human rights, equality, and non-discrimination" became buzz words backed by law, and began to be forcefully enforced against Christians by the courts.
Now 14 years later, a British couple cannot be foster parents because their Judeo-Christian beliefs are considered "homophobic." A judge ruled children must be protected from "infection" by such beliefs. The hostility of judges against religious people has even extended to their being considered as "terrorists," he said. Anti-discrimination laws have become tools to discriminate.
His advice to counteract this was threefold.
First, spread the truth. We must move out of our own sphere of influence and create debate among average Americans about the harmful truths of the homosexual agenda, he said.
Secondly, we need to keep trying to develop major media contacts to publicize the truth. (As we've seen, the media instinctively wants to ignore these types of stories.)
For example, British Airways employees have been banned from wearing even small cross necklaces, but allowed to wear turbans, Hindu ponytails, or any other jewelry with religious symbolism. This made the front page of a major UK newspaper.
Finally, Diamond said, pro-family activists must exchange information across borders - help each other out, as the opponents already have been doing with great skill. Much of the world's future still follows America's lead, he said. "You've been leaders of the free world not because of your wealth but because of your values."

I tell you, we've lost. I do tend to be pessimistic but this is clearcut. We know we will win in the end (post-world) but that could be a long ways away (or not).
Thank you and kind regards, also, FRiend. This episode convinces me to push even harder to get our girls (starting middle school in the next two years) into private, religious school. My IRA will take a big hit but what better investment could one make? Public elementary schools in this area have actually been very good, no real problems to speak of, good teachers and little or no PC BS, but I know that middle school is where the libertine philosophies get started, at least around here.
It used to be that they kept quiet and it was whispered about, most of the time the fruit left home and went somewhere like San Francisco or Washington DC where their perversity was easily hidden where they lived, and readily accepted where they went out to meet others of their kind.The family had no need to accept them in their community.
Today they have come out of the closet and stay close to home where their family has no choice but to accept them, because they love them. Soon the family starts thinking -—well it isn't so bad that they just want to take it in the rear, other than that there is nothing wrong with them, I just hope my son doesn't get AIDS.. The family learns to accept them and after a while to feel that they are put upon.
The families forget what the homosexual perversity does to society. The more they are accepted , the more people start behaving in a like fashion.For after all Most homosexuals are not born homosexual, it is just easier to get an orgasm off a man who is promiscuous than to have to seek the same orgasm from a woman.Who they may have to date several times and spend beau-coup bucks to get in the sack.
Homosexual women fit pretty much the same pattern, no fear of pregnancy, no mess,with a few add-ons they can perform satisfactorily, and they have mutual emotions .
IMO there is little courtship with homosexuals , they aren't out playing, both know why they are there and what they want.In my experience, the good looking women end up with other good looking women and the dogs end up with the dogs. Looks still go a long way in picking a p[artner just as in heterosexual liaisons.
I write this from my own opinions , many may have differing opinions, but this is why I believe families are more accepting these days of homosexuals. Because now their kids admit to their sick life style and live closer to home, no longer hiding out in the closet.
Well, I'm different from most people, in many ways.
No practicing homosexual, grown child or otherwise, is going to live in my house. I might help them from a far with certain things.
Homo orientation, without behavioral expression, is a different thing, of course. Some people don't seem to be able to escape that and I wouldn't let it put distance between us.
What’s worse is that they also have succumbed to it’s leftwing sister: militant secularism. Frankly, the number one distortion I have ever heard on the matter is the fact that a sexual behavior is a greater right than freedom of speech, freedom of expression, or owning property, or a greater need than food, water, or Oxygen. Frankly having such priorities shows that someone has traveled the wrong direction on Maslow’s Hierarchy, and it’s not toward the strong foundation.

It’s tough to draw the line, but I would work in genuine hopes that whatever happens, I could provide and offer some important company and communication to a child, even if he was a practicing homosexual. I figure that such a person is still far from beyond relatable in some ways. As for a kid who feels attraction but works to not actively practice homosexual behaviors, by all means, those people need plenty of encouragement to keep doing what they’re doing.

Not what the article says, and not true anyway. Britain has succumbed to “political correctness”, which is a way of abusing the long-standing moderation and tolerance of the British by condemning anything that seems “intolerant” - ie anyone who says “no”, or who stands up against the new PC shiboleths.
Your objections to Gays being in the military on the grounds that recruitment will plummet and discipline crumble are dismissed as evidence of "intolerance" to homosexuals.
Your objections to teaching ten year olds about condoms and "safe sex" on the grounds that it doesn't work are dismissed as being evidence of "intolerance" to "the kids".
Your objections to affirmative action programs on the grounds that they are unfair to whites (and also don't work) are dismissed as being evidence of "intolerance" towards minorities.
Your objections to abortion on the grounds that it is murder are dismissed as evidence of "intolerance" to women's rights.
Your objections to Obama's presidential decrees on the grounds that he's a statist and closet marxist are dismissed as evidence of "intolerance" of black people.
and so on and so on...
That isn't how sh*t like this gets stopped. We all know it.

No doubt very satisfying to say, but it isn’t going to counter this leftist misuse of toleration. John Locke must be turning in his grave - for sure he never meant his ideas to come to this.
