New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious operation as far back as July 2010. That directly contradicts his statement to Congress.
On May 3, 2011, Holder told a Judiciary Committee hearing, "I'm not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks."

Guess Holder thought he was above the law...
don’t hold your breath...
This makes like the 10th F & F thread in the last hour. And more to come.
But I remain pessimistic. Most Americans have no clue what Fast & Furious is. Nor do they care. All they are interested in is how Chaz does on Dancing with the Stars.
But.. I do see more MSM attention is being given here. Maybe - just maybe - this will lead to impeachment for the Kenyan.
Never he is black! This would be racist by doing this so say the Black Community!
Once he goes, look for the house of cards to collapse. He is apparently the main player preventing a closer look to many ‘situations’ with this WH crowd.
Can’t be soon enough. Our country will be better of without this Black Panther defending, lying, race baiter.
Just keep on lyin’ ‘bout it Holder. Keep on. Just makes the inevitable even sweeter.
Mmmm...mmm...mmmmm...
I think this is the final nail for Holder actually. By asking for a special prosecutor (I thought that law lapsed but perhaps with every other continuing resolution it is in there, who knows) it is the warning more is coming if Holder does not go. This way Issa gets his scalp, and Zero keeps his.
Roger Clemens comes to mind....... OH! nevermind!
Have we ever had an Attorney General go to jail? Be indicted in office? I wonder how that would work.
Never!!! Communists in power.
I don’t know...
I well recall a Special Prosecutor being set up for a thrid-rate scam called Whitewater.
We all know where THAT went. And if F&F is the (latest) scandal that finally gets the ball rolling to indict Obama - then GREAT!
Start with F&F, then add in the Rezko/Blago scandals, and a few more Chicago dirty deals, and before you know it....
Bammie is wearing stripes.
(Yeah. I know - I’m dreaming!)
John Mitchell did time.
One day, while minding his own business, a man who knows something that could be embarrassing or scandalous for the administration he happens to take the short cut through Marcy park and under the strain of his own personal existence takes a gun out with his non-dominate hand and puts it to his temple in a contortionist's manner and kills himself. Or while on a business trip out of the country the plane malfunctions and attempts to land short of the runway killing all on board -scandal averted, justice executed.
...John Mitchell, AG, Nixon Administration...
Now he claims he didn't understand a simple question when testifying under oath to Congress.
If he's not intentionally malevolent on his own or by orders from above, then he's just plain too incompetent or stupid to be in public office..
I really think the Dems are behind this because they can’t figure out how to get Obama to not run in 2012 (and/or, he has refused to consider it) without looking like “racists” to the “plantation” voters. They need Obama to be fully discredited and have a “savior” ride in and save the day before the election so they can maintain power. A few weeks ago, they trotted out Dems who talked about how Obama just wasn’t what they hoped for, and now this steady drip-drip-drip from the MSM. It’s not because the MSM “reporters” are finding their basic ethics, it’s because they are getting the orders from the party over Obama!
Indicted? What will “my people” say?
Don't criticize Freepers who are actively doing all they can to bring this issue into the light.
“But I remain pessimistic.”
Nice to have the company!
You’re correct in your pessimism. There is a huge gulf between the things we see and the things most of America sees.
This is not on the MSM radar screen. And the reason it isn’t tells you all you need to know about how it will be handled.
