Amends for Hiroshima: Obama To Bomb Two U.S. Cities
The People's Cube ^ | 10/13/11 | Red Square

Posted on 10/14/2011 12:19:28 AM PDT by OddLane

In a belated expression of remorse for the nuclear strikes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki sixty six years ago, President Obama has authorized the Army to launch apologetic nuclear strikes on two American cities. The selection of cities is not final, but they will most likely be Dallas and Houston in a nod to the Democratic desire to attack cities in a "red" state prior to national elections.

After Tokyo had denied Obama's bid to go to Hiroshima to publicly apologize for America’s dropping the bomb there, Obama reportedly sought advice from his staff about an alternative way to turn America's victory in WWII into a matter of national humiliation.

"The point was not to make the Japanese feel better - who cares what they feel? - but to make Americans feel worse," said Press Secretary Jay Carney at a briefing this morning.

Hmmm... Shades of "Failsafe." Where's Larry Hagman when you need him? Let me tell you, Obama's no Henry Fonda!

The fact is, the illegitimate Kenyan sonuvabitch is fully capable of such a despicable act.

This might be a spoof-satire article, but the reality of America's LM ("Little Mussolini") is chilling.

This is an entrapment thread.

Suggesting the nuking, even as satire, of an American city will be taken out of context by the MSM, who obviously monitor FR, and then put out as “conservatives want to use nuclear weapons blah blah blah." Before you know it, everyone of us is on the DHS “watch list” and our accounts hacked by SS Fuhrer Heydrich Holder.

Always insert JK or “just kidding” disclaimers on every post.

Washington DC and what else?

Else? Nuke it twice for starters and then follow up with bug bombs. Cockroaches are hard to kill, especially the big ones that wear suits and hide in bunkers.

Great movie! Larry’s excellent in that one. Remember Dom DeLuise as a serious character in the film?

Chicago and San Francisco. Have you seen Detroit lately? Bombing it would be a waste of megatonnage.

I was going to enclose the word “satire” in parentheses after the title, but I figured it would be redundant.

Fail Safe is a great movie, although Dr. Strangelove is probably my favorite hysterical, Cold War era fantasy to come from Hollywood.

Dr. Strangelove is probably the best - and comes in at a neat 90 minutes.

I just screened the great movie The Manchurian Candidate. Paranoid politics writ large. Superlative performances by Frank Sinatra, Angela Lansbury and the late, lamented Laurence Harvey.

Love Angela Lansbury.

She also had an unforgettable peformance in Sweeney Todd.

Great theatrical actor.

I saw Sweeney Todd 3 times in its initial run - that spectacular 1979/80? production with Len Cariou and Angela as the great murderous tag team.

I had the album for years and played it all the time. I now have the cd, of course, but need to dust it off. I also saw Angela Lansbury in her famous “Gypsy” turn in the 1970s. She can play loveable or she can play evil - amazing talent.
