WASHINGTON Friday night, during the Tribute to Ronald Reagan Dinner, radicals with the Occupy DC and a coalition of liberal groups tried violently to crash the Americans for Prosperity Defending the Dream Summit.
These radicals, some of whom carried black flags, wanted to supress rights of individuals to freely assemble and to intimidate conservatives into silence. Black flags often represent anarchy.
Many Dream attendees captured the violence on their smart phones. and shared them with the mainstream media. By Saturday morning, the story had became national news. CNN was the first to go national with the story, followed by other outlets. Caleb Hayes, a College Republican from Kansas, was interviewed by at least five different national news sources, as they ran his video of an innocent bystander getting run over by a car from an occupier. According to witnesses, the bystander had nothing to do with either group.
All Friday and Saturday afternoon, satellite trucks from media outlets circled the block around the Washington Convention Center, as both Republican Presidential frontrunners, Herman Cain and Mitt Romney, came to speak, along with other top conservatives. The event would have made national news anyway, regardless of the violence that occured, by the Occupiers.
The protestors circled the convention center and tried to enter every single entrance. Police did nothing despite reports that staffers at AFP called 911 four times. However, some video does show police getting involved. Security inside the building quickly moved to lock every entrance and no one was allowed to enter or leave.

WOOF
Try to take my dog and somebody’s getting a beat down.
Even though it would quite hard to “grab” *my* dog, ~if~ they did, they would soon find out what manner of nasty things lurk in the duffel bag I call a “purse”.
IMO, it’s time turn some “real dogs” loose on these walking meat sacks.
I think we all need to take some big rotweillers with us to events. (snicker)
Thanks Nachum.
It just occurred to me what a golden opportunity I missed during the [pathetic] “Occupy Martinsburg!” event.
I could’ve plastered myself with hundred dollar bills, stickers supporting capitalism and a FR sandwich board and gone for a leisurely stroll amidst the stinking masses.
Odin would’ve REALLY enjoyed that.
[since his “personal space” is limited only by the length of his leash, I think the 15’ training line would have been an hysterically funny choice...coulda looked like Moses parting the Crud Sea]
*sigh*
My life is so full of antagonistic fun, left undone.
:-\
agreed, we are at the point that black panthers can intimidate voters, guns given to our enemies, the president is not held accountable under the law and these aholes know no one will do anything, they will get bolder, time to end this crapshow..
Thanks for posting this Nachum. Here is the youtube vid if anyone is interested.

Much faster, more agile and they do so love their "job".
Y'all pay my gas and we'll volunteer to lead your parades....:)
Should have pulled out some nightsticks and mace and gone civilized on them..
I watched part of that but The Boy is laying here with his head on my hip and the rumbling in his chest got to be too much and I backed out.
[didn’t wanting him going after my laptop screen]...LOL
He *so* hates ‘threatening crowds’.
Awwww...priorities! :)
Yup.
It takes Alienware 10 days to replace a broken screen....LOL
Yea, I have 3 German shepherds ...we walk out in the country, one dog circles my wife continually the others are by her side..very protective and very well trained..
Good dogs!
Scruffle their ears for me....:)
Odin walks tight up against me, with his head pressed against my left hip.
If somebody “enters our space”, he moves in front of me, between them and me [”blocking”] and notifies them that they’re treading on dangerous ground.
If I think they’re “okay”, I’ll tell him and goes back to the hip but sometimes, he refuses and stands his ground.
I trust his judgement more than my own and move away from that person.
He’s been dead right at least once and I’m not about to over-ride his obviously better judgement.
Oddly enough, I did not teach him the hip/block stuff.
He started doing that of his own accord when he was about 6 months old.
I ~knew~ then I’d really picked a winner....:)
They’d ignore you and Odin and grab the $100 bills.
I would imagine it’d be rather hard to grab anything using just a bloody stump.
