The Occupy movement, which is protesting a wide range of perceived wrongs from fat cat Wall Street bankers to social and economic injustice, also is being strongly influenced by communists and socialists, though you wouldn’t know that from reports by the mainstream media.
But as this video shows, it is more about those who hate America and want to see capitalism replaced by socialism, even though most of the protesters have no idea of what that would really mean to them.

There’s been a lot of negative comments on FR about the occupy crowd and what idiots/communists/etc they are but I kind of view them like the tea party in that while the tea party people woke up in 2008 when the Congress and Bush and O started giving away the nations future to the bankers these guys were stupid enough to believe all that hopey/changey stuff O was spouting ... until now. They’ve finally woke up just like the tea party people did. The problem is that they have been raised all of their lives (just think what 16 to 20 years of indoctrination in our public schools will do to the minds of most people) to look to government for the solution and that people that are rich (other than the right kind of people, like O) are evil and deserve to have their wealth taken from them.
They are right that the bankers have royally ripped all of us off and have especially screwed those dumb enough to believe the going into debt for a worthless liberal arts degree was a good thing. I don’t fault their conclusions or really their actions (which are similar to the tea party) but do fault their proposed solutions.
There needs to be some way to refocus them but darn if I know how you would do that.

It's more than if a good can poll citizens and find 10 grievances... it's WHO the group IS - and what their real goals are that matter too...
And yes, organizations can't control who joins to protest, but they CAN control who pulls their stings. The folks behind Occupy appear to be bad apples.. ACORN is one - there are others. If Occupy has issues worth looking at - fine. Those issues can be looked at separate from the people who want to destroy our freedom.
