Newt Gingrich "The Unfaithful"
Conservative Blogs Central ^ | Friday, December 16 | BC

Posted on 12/17/2011 6:50:32 AM PST by conservativeBC

This is sure to bring on the wrath of the Gingrich settlers, but it needs to be said. There is no need to click on the source link, because it says the same thing there.

How many of you have lived through the experience of an unfaithful spouse?

If you have you know that a cheater doesn't just tell one little white lie. In order to cover their trail of deceit, they have to become serial black liars. A person who has cheated has told thousands of lies, to their spouse, their friends, their coworkers, their families and to themselves.

If you are among the millions that have suffered the misfortune of being married to this type of person you know what they are. They are the type of people who can look you in the eye and tell you lie after lie, half truth after half truth, and never show even a hint of remorse.

Newt Gingrich is a man who has done this to not just one women, but to two. And at least one of them was deathly ill, if not both of them.

Think about that. Put yourself in their shoes for a moment. Think about being married to someone sorry enough to do that to you.

To the people have been there, or have had family go through this, you know how devastating it is. And you know all too well what kind of a person it takes to do it.

So how could you ever support this man when you have so many running who as Rush, Beck, and Mark Levin says can beat Obama? Any of them can win.

Don't believe what the establishment is trying to convince you of. All of these candidates are electable. It was their stupidity that gave us John McCain. How did that work out for you?

Don't settle. We are better than that.

Even if you believe Newt Gingrich when he says that he has ask for forgiveness and has become a better person, you should forgive but you would be foolish to forget.

I would be willing to forgive Sandusky if he repented, but he still has to be punished. And it would be a cold day in hell before he babysitted my boy.

The same with Newt. I can forgive, but I am not about to hand him the levers of power when there are still other choices.

I would -- as a last resort -- vote for him over Obama; because they are both liars. But any of the candidates running are better than Newt Gingrich. Even a hard core RINO like Romney, and a first class nut job like Ron Paul.

At least they have some integrity.

I agree, Newt is one untrustworthy lying ba$tard.

I see the wheels always moving, always calculating. “IF I say this to this audience, how many points will it move me up with them, and how many points down with another group?”

He has no core of beliefs and no integrity. He's just a shrewd conman, always calculating the angles and the benefits to his own rise in power.

My biggest issue with Gingrich has not been his political philosophy but his character. He lacks integrity.

A man who takes somemn marriage vows, and who then is able to look at “the love of his life” (sic) and lie directly to her face about his outside affairs, is a man who will have much less trouble looking at the camera and lying to an audience.

Newt is utterly without a core of integrity. He would say anything to anybody, while always calculating the momentary gain to himself. The man is a very slick conman, an unusually effective liar.

Ibama is a big lier. As far as I know he isn’t cheating on what’s her face.
Whoever replaces Ibama I hope they lie about keeping welfare and medicaid as is. I hope they lie about extending never ending unemployment, and massive spending without any relevent cuts, keeping the Department of Ed and Enviro..and then do the opposite!
Haha

When the writer includes a proven lie should one assume that the rest of the article should be taken with a grain of salt?

Since when has constantly changing your opinion for political gain and expediency been called “integrity”....not sure Romney qualifies.

But what man has not had lust in his heart over a woman who is not his wife. And what man would not lie about that to his wife (or at least make stupid excuses for it).

Even Billy Graham said that the only way he knew he could prevent falling into the trap of adultery was to obey one simple rule...never travel with or permit yourself to be alone with a woman who is not your wife or your sister.

Glad you recognize the calculating, con-artist nature of Gingrich. What many see as his “intelligent” and “articulate” manner is partly the glib, facile speech of a sociopath. Not only did this man lie to at least two women, he first had to snow them into marrying him. That requires well-developed powers of deceptive persuasion. He exploited those powers as a lobbyist, and is now exercising them on the Republican base.

Which is right from the KORAN.

Everyone is welcome to use whatever criteria they see fit in order to cast their vote, but for me, a divorced and remarried person, the issue of whom he did or didn’t stay married to is not germane. There are many reasons why marriages fail and I am not in the position, nor are any of you, to judge that dynamic. Perhaps his first wife picked him from out of the cradle in a statuatory rape sort of way. Perhaps his second wife withheld sex after being married and told him she was only in it for the money? We simply don’t know. However, we do know this country is careening toward a financial meltdown of Biblical proportions unless someone can come in and quickly, with no learning curve, slow the momentum. Who you gonna call?

My problem with all the Republican candidates is that they are serial sinners. They do it everyday and repeatedly. We need a candidate like the Democrats found - the Messianic type who has not and will not sin. No adultery, no lying at all, no judging of others, no stealing, no envy, no boasting. Wake me up when this type of person announces. Nothing less will get my vote.

And that’s the point. It’s not what we’re “wired” to do or act, it’s how we respond to those urges. Those like Billy Graham who have accepted right vs. wrong live one way, those who don’t live another way.

I, for one, have never cheated on my spouse. I’m a man who appreciates good looking women (all women for that matter), but I’ve accepted that as a part of my makeup as a male. It doesn’t mean I have to act on it. Nor will I.

I wonder what our history would've been like without the following modern presidents who cheated?

Roosevelt

Eisenhower

Kennedy

Johnson

Clinton

Would we have been better off with replications of Nixon, Carter, Obama, who did not cheat?

I think bedroom morals is probably among the poorest of all standards to apply in picking a commander-in-chief.

Looking for purity in politics is like looking for a sheep in the middle of a wolf pack.

it’s how we respond to those urges.

Not in Christianity. Even our thoughts of other women are cheating.
