Meghan McCain: If We Nominate Gingrich It Is ‘The End Of The Republican Party’
Mediaite ^ | 12/19/11 | James Crugnale

Posted on 12/19/2011 11:31:04 AM PST by markomalley

On Monday’s Now with Alex Wagner, MSNBC contributor Meghan McCain was beside herself over Republican frontrunner Newt Gingrich‘s physical absence from Iowa, just weeks away from the caucuses, also expressing disgust over his comments on judicial activism. “I can’t handle it!” McCain exclaimed. “As a Republican, this is the end of the Republican Party if we nominate this man.”

McCain was responding to a report that Gingrich was staying home for the holidays, watching his wife play the French horn at a Christmas concert and noted that when her father was campaigning for President, he didn’t take a break.

“That’s the thing I can’t understand, someone on the road –you are on the road! I don’t think we spent Christmases at home. I think I spent Christmas in New Hampshire if I remember correctly,” McCain observed. “It is baffling! Everything he does, it’s like, ‘hit me again, crazy!’ I literally can’t get enough. This judge thing is my new favorite thing. It’s clearly insane. It’s out of a science fiction novel.”

Watch McCain’s jab at Gingrich, that he would spell doom for the Republican Party below via MSNBC:

I wonder if Meghan is getting her cues from daddy?

Why does anyone think that anything this little girl says is relevant? She talks like a sophomore in high school, not even college level. Maybe if Daddy had paid more attention to her and stayed home on the holidays with the family she would have developed into a mature young woman - with some common sense. She just seems like a gal trying to get the attention from whomever she can and always has some sort of chip on her shoulder about almost everything. Without McCain being her Daddy, no one would give her comments any publicity. She has nothing concrete or positive to say, nothing to contribute ever.

Meghan McCain condemning Gingrich actually IMPROVES my opinion of him.

“Meghan McCain: If We Nominate Gingrich It Is ‘The End Of The Republican Party’”

SHOULD say: Meghan McCain: If We Elect Gingrich It Could Be The End for a lot of RINOs!

“As a Republican, this is the end of the Republican Party if we nominate this man.”

Is that necessarily a bad thing??? From the shabby way the party has been treating Conservatives and the tea party, perhaps its time dismantle the party and start over. Let the RINO's going to their natural home in the Democrat Party and let Conservatives and the tea party create a new party.

“Your reach-across-the-aisle lame-o of a husband had your shot and failed”

It was her lame-o of a father, not husband, but he might want to reach across the aisle some more and make that legal, too.

After her daddy tucked tail and refused to attack his opponent in the race, she has no room to criticize anyone!

Had he attacked Obama and allowed Sarah to bring up Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, dope, birth certificates, etc. as she wanted to, we might have a very different looking country right about now. So as far as I am concerned Ms. Meghan the spoiled brat blabbermouth can sit down and shut up!

I’m trying to figure out what the downside is to the extinction of the Republican party. I think both parties have gotten us into this mess and it would be a step in the right direction if they both disappeared.

FTA:

“Ms. McCain then added, emphaticallly: ‘MOOOOOOO! MOOOOOO! Oink! Oink! Oink! MOOOOOoooooooooOOOOOO!” Moo! Moo. moo. Oink, oinkity, oink! Neah! OINK!’”

Oh, er, maybe that’s just what I hear when I think of her.

We all remember the remarkable courage and wisdom her father displayed in suspending his campaign to rush back to Washington to oppose the TARP bailout, which he then endorsed, making it certain that his campaign was Dead on Arrival. Did he come up with that strategy all by himself or was he listening to closely to daddy’s little girl?

If it portends the beginning of a new Conservative Party, bring it on; let it end. If not, conservatives have to recapture the existing Republican Party from the progressives who seem to have infested it. That means no Newt (though I’d love to see him clean Obama’s clock in the debates).

Double dittos on that, Meg’s endorsement is the kiss of death, her opposition to Newt is a good omen.

This should give Newt a boost.

I agree. Anyone who has said these same words should now pause and seriously reflect upon whether they want to agree with Meghan.
