(Jan. 1, 2012) — On January 3, 2012, several members of the New Hampshire House of Representatives will hold a press conference with the primary purpose of informing New Hampshire citizens and registered voters that Barack Hussein Obama may not be eligible to serve as president and therefore should not have his name appear on the 2012 presidential ballot.

The time and place are tentatively set for 10:00 a.m. outside of the Legislative Office Building in Concord.

We will see how the local and national media handle this one. I am flying on Tuesday and can not attend. I would hope someone from here could and give us a report.

They won’t say a thing I bet.

These folks are like those poor North Koreans that escaped a deadly subway fire years ago but then ran back into the tunnel to save the posters of their leader.

They have no standing. Didn’t they get the memo? They may have some guts, but they have no standing.

It is a simple question, the legal meaning of Natural born Citizen, so simple that the fact it has been ducked by all levels of the Judiciary makes one wonder. It is good to see that this chicken is coming home to roost.

Members of NH’s state congress have no standing to bring a case before the State Supreme Court? Who, then, DOES have the ability to force the Secretary of State to apply the same standards to each candidate? The SOS left a couple people off the ballot even though they had filled out the required paperwork and paid, but for Obama they’re saying they CAN’T leave him off the ballot if he’s done the same as the other 2 guys who were left off.

So who has the ability to hold the SOS accountable to the Equal Protection clause of the 14th Amendment?

Sounds to me, from what the Congressman said in the article, that the NH Supreme Court gave them no reason for refusing to hear their case. If it was a matter of standing, they should have said that.

They have the obligation to question all of these issues on the basis of their oath to the state. That will be their standing. If they knowingly allow an intelligible person on the ballot, they could be impeached.

Won’t happen, but it “could”.

So their oath of office specifically gives them standing to question the Constitutionality of something happening in state government.

How, then, can any state court - including the state Supreme Court - simply refuse to hear their case?

What’s the impeachment process for NH Supreme Court judges?

That’s precisely the problem. The same problem we fought the War for Independence over. The government ran roughshod over the people with no means of accountability to the rule of law.

That’s one of the reasons the Bill of Rights includes the right of the people to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Where in the law are courts given the legal option of ignoring cases for no reason at all?

When the courts ignore whatever cases they want, without having to follow laws, rules, or ethics regarding what constitutes a valid case, that is a huge, huge problem, wouldn’t you say? When Us Constitutional (14th Amendment) due process is violated without even giving a reason, that is a HUGE problem, wouldn’t you say?

Do you realize that the Dred Scott decision was simply that a suit by a Black person could never go anywhere, because the Constitution didn’t give due process rights to “human livestock” (the reason given to refuse to hear suits by Blacks)? How many people died over that issue - that simple issue of the courts saying that certain lawsuits would never...go....anywhere?

Could somebody sue NH legislators for not upholding their oath of office, to force the issue of the courts refusing to provide equal protection for both the candidates themselves AND for the legislators who are legally obligated to uphold the US Constitution but denied that ability by the courts?

Different times, different political atmosphere. If the major player’s intitials are O.T., then this is a dead-bang loser. While it would be GREAT to see something come out of this, it is foolish to think something WILL happen that will impact the occupier-in-chief.
