The mask is fully off. Barack Obama is the most corrupt, power-mad president in this nation's illustrious history. By his actions in bypassing Congress and making appointments that should be subject to Senate approval while the Senate is still in session and innumerable extra-constitutional actions since he became president, he is following in the footsteps of the despots who dominated the 20th century.
In late September of 2008, it became clear to me that Barack Obama would be elected president. Based on his background, education, motivation, and indoctrination, I saw a man who could single-handedly destroy the country and someone with no respect for the history, the Constitution, or the people of the United States. The specter of a megalomaniac who was a stranger to the truth and would or say or do anything to achieve or retain power overcame me. In Barack Obama and his fellow travelers, I saw what I feared the most since I came to this country: a person and a political mindset that would, if allowed, spell the end of the noblest experiment in the history of mankind.
It was at that point that I wrote my first article for American Thinker in an attempt to warn the people of America that the result of the 2008 election would be critical to the nation's survival. This was the first column I had written since my college days over 40+ years before, and I am eternally grateful to AT for publishing it and giving me a forum to speak to the American people.
I had to survive a war that was precipitated by those who were initially elected by the people in a democratic fashion. Yet once in power, they began to systematically usurp and overthrow the rule of law.

What mask? Once again our gnat-sized attention span is on display. Why have we forgotten about the three dozen czars placed in positions of authority with zero congressional oversight. They have been there for three years now, quietly doing whatever they do. We have no idea what frameworks are in place because of the czars, no one seems to care, and there is no one who can or is willing to audit them.

Did you read the article? It says the checkpoint was in a Social Security office. It says residents of Leeburg were shocked by it.
Setting up check points in Social Security offices is wrong. Tell me what could be learned by such an exercise? Nothing. This is high level inteimidation - plain a simple. The American SS is testing the water - seeing if anyone will push back. It’s political. The person who wrote the article even said it was political. It’s that obvious. Your local democrats WILL sell this country for thirty pieces of silver - and the suck up press that fretted about people knowing what library books they were reading are brain dead....
Who are they intimidating in a SS office? Those lining up to get SS disability payments for ailments they don't have?

Even if with a miracle he loses this next time (if he allows a next time), that doesn't mean all those he's appointed and the hundreds those appointees have hired are out of office. No, they're there for the long term to carry out his/Soros' evil deeds.

Our swat teams, military etc don't 'practice' in front of civilians - well - not until recently...
Totalitarians use fear in place of boots - 'boots' are expensive. Intimidation is cheaper - easier.. In Iran 'midnight knock' on the door - where a person is taken by authorities and never seen again - doesn't happen THAT often... doesn't have to... All citizens become afraid. Psychological intimidation works. Obama's SS has NO business setting up checkpoints in a free country. No one should have to 'show their papers' unless a crisis is unfolding.
It amazing how little force is needed to create controlling fear in humans. What you see as minor, sickoflibs - is a horror. It really is the camel's nose under the tent.
