Defendant, President Barack Obama, a candidate seeking the Democratic nomination for the office of the President of the United States, has filed a motion to quash the subpoena compelling his attendance at the hearing on January 26, 2012.

The aren't trying to force him into court. They are letting him know that he won't be on the ballot if he does not show up in court. It's up to him to go or not.
It's his call. Show up and testify, or ignore and stay off the ballot. *HE* wants something from the state, not the other way around.
Even if this is legit, and Bambi can’t squirm his way out of it, Georgia is Republican hold anyway. Now pull this off in Florida, Ohio, or Penn and we are talking.

God bless the great State of Georgia! This is one judge that intends to uphold his sworn oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.
Is this ‘official’ from Obama’s campaign, as the logo indicates? If so, there is the obvious red flag of admission that his original life narrative [married mother] was a lie. And now he was raised in Kansas?
The most intriguing: “My story is one told a million times over in this country from sea to shining sea. It is a dream shared by all who come to this country seeking opportunity and prosperity.”
Parsing: MY STORY...SHARED BY ALL WHO COME TO THIS COUNTRY SEEKING OPPORTUNITY...”
His ‘story’, supposedly, is the one he told in ‘Dreams From My Father’: born in Hawaii, yada, yada. Is one’s story not one’s experience? He’s now saying his story - his experience - was the same [shared experience] as all who come to this country [shared experience: immigration] seeking opportunity [shared experience: less opportunity in one’s own country].
IF this is genuinely from Obama’s campaign, it would seem he’s trying an end run to back away from his original story with “I’m a victim...I never knew...I was just an innocent chiiiiild...I’ve just found out mama wasn’t married, that non-citizen wasn’t really my father [but be assured the unknown SOMEONE who was, surely was U.S. born]...and that’s why I don’t have a real birth certificate. They MADE me do it, MADE me forge one...sniff, sniff, waaa, waaa...I’ve been here for 3 years, so that’s precedent...and it’s George Bush’s fault. Oh, yeah...and you’re racist.”
It must be fake - someone’s joke. His Oneness would never stoop so low as to toying with being honest - or semi-honest. The potential legal ramifications alone will be sufficient to keep him on his road of dedicated prevarication.
So if he doesn’t show, will the judge find him in contempt?
Probably find for the plaintiffs and Obama is kept off of the ballot.

ATLANTA (AP) — A judge has ordered President Barack Obama to appear in court in Atlanta for a hearing on a complaint that says Obama isn’t a natural-born citizen and can’t be president.
It’s one of many such lawsuits that have been filed across the country, so far without success. A Georgia resident made the complaint, which is intended to keep Obama’s name off the state’s ballot in the March presidential primary.
An Obama campaign aide says any attempt to involve the president personally will fail and such complaints around the country have no merit.
The hearing is set for Thursday before an administrative judge. Deputy Chief Judge Michael Malihi on Friday denied a motion by the president’s lawyer to quash a subpoena that requires Obama to show up.

Just a small correction: The base hospital that McCain was supposed to have been born in was not built until after his birth. He was not NBC because he was born in a foreign country. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Zero can bring whatever he desires with him...he still has to prove that what he presents meets the constitutional requirements to hold office.
The Supreme Court in Clinton v. Jones decided that POTUS is not immune from civil courts. (Thanks Bubba!). Barry cannot ignore a civil court.
Obama will say that it’s an undue burden on the people of Atlanta because his motorcade will tie up traffic, they’ll have to clear the courthouse, the Secret Service will have to investigate all the court workers, and travelers at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport will be delayed when Air Force One lands.
All I can say is we welcome Obama with open arms to our state capital to show us how is constitutionally eligible to hold the office of POTUS.

John McCain was not born on a U.S. military base. He was born in a civilian hospital in the city of Colon, Republic of Panama.
The U.S. Department of State’s Foreign Affairs manual stipulates:
7 FAM 1131.6-2 Eligibility for Presidency
(TL:CON-68; 04-01-1998)
a. It has never been determined definitively by a court whether a person who acquired U.S. citizenship by birth abroad to U.S. citizens is a natural-born citizen within the meaning of Article II of the Constitution and, therefore, eligible for the Presidency.
(...)
d.(...) In any event, the fact that someone is a natural born citizen pursuant to a statute does not necessarily imply that he or she is such a citizen for Constitutional purposes.
