Sharron Angle, a Nevada Republican and tea-party favorite, will endorse Rick Santorum. She issued the following statement to National Review Online:
Rick Santorum and I have known each other for years. He is a strong fiscal and social conservative who stands on principles above politics. He has never wavered in his support for family values understanding the impact that strong families have on a prosperous economy. His continuous opposition to Amnesty, Obamacare, the bail-outs, and cap and trade are a perfect fit with our main street Tea Party movement.
Angle was the Nevada GOP’s nominee for U.S. Senate in 2010.

That is in no way, shape, matter or form a factual statement. At best, you haven't paid much attention to this primary, and at worst, you are simply engaging in false propaganda - and that's what is pretty sad. Given the most recent memorable event in this campaign was Santorum stealing the show at the last debate in his schooling Romney it is especially pitiful you would post such a comment.
Santorum's been all over Romney. Ads about Romneycare and how it's no different from Obamacare. In fact it sounds like he's hitting Romney harder than Newt.
One might ask the same question about Newt's endorsement of Dede Scozzafava.
Santorum had several reasons to endorse Specter, although I thought it was a big mistake. First, Bush and Rove leaned on him, hard, and said that Specter was more electable, and would help Bush confirm good SCOTUS candidates in the Senate. I doubted that, but in fact he did, before he went around the bend.
Second, Specter had endorsed Santorum in earlier elections, although he did nothing to help him in 2006.
What was Newt's excuse for endorsing Scozzafava? Without that endorsement, the Conservative probably would have won. Scozzafava had little chance of winning, but instead dropped out and handed it to the Democrat. Without all those attacks by the RNC and Newt on the Conservative, he would have won the seat.
Frankly, it would be more to the point if Ron Paul would drop out, but I'm afraid he never will. He enjoys being destructive.

It would have required a lack of integrity on the part of Santorum to have done anything but stand by Specter when Specter had worked so hard for Santorum in his previous elections.
What I want to know is if the frothy Santorum has gotten the endorsement of Arlen Spector?
I am perplexed...I can’t find any news items of negative ad’s against Santorum! Can’t believe he has no baggage to attack on.
Or perhaps the washed up quarterback who connects on a TD pass against a third team defense; "Wow we can do this!"
History will show Rick Santorum's candidacy for what it us… counterproductive at best, senseless in reality.
It would not matter one yod were it Cain, Bachmann or this guy who was the "Remaining Messianic Conservative Hope".
That candidate would have the same base providing the same results.
The kettle is beginning to boil, who knows America may wake and smell the coffee…

Why?
There are only two conservatives in this race: Gingrich and Santorum. Lifetime ACU rating of both: Gingrich --90; Santorum -- 88.1. That's pretty close. I agree that both are conservatives.
So who is the enemy here? His name is Romney (POS). Because he's certainly not an (R).
That said, I REALLY loved it when Santorum when after Romney over healthcare during the debate last week. Great stuff. Gingrich also went after Romney on a number of issues too.
But here's the difference between Santorum and Gingrich. Gingrich tries to keep the debate on the issues, and if he does attack, it's against the gun-grabbing, pro-abortion, pro-homosexualist statist polices of Romney. But when Santorum attacks, it's almost always aimed at Gingrich (other than that beautiful attack on Romneycare).
Don't believe me? Many Coloradan FReepers and Nevadan FReepers are testifying to Santorum's anti-Gingrich attacks in their states. So why the hell is Santorum doing this?

LG absolutely said Newt would be a formidible nominee and is a good leader who accomplished great things. He stated clearly he had misjudged Newt in the past. He made the semi humorous comment about when Newt is not careful with his words, at the end.
You've noticed that too?
The Santorum campaign is following Romney's lead by going negative against Newt.
Yet no one is going negative against Santorum.
If, for some reason, Santorum's negative attack ads against Newt work, I'm pretty sure he'll be the next to find out what it means to be at the receiving end of negative attacks.

Damn it to Hell, Man. Santorum has been attacking Romney. Lets get to the real issue here, Newt isn’t more conservative than Romney. Anyone pushing Man-made global warming like Newt is either a half-witted fool or a lying fraud. Which is it?

I thought that it was a great interview. I think that Graham was mad about the lies that were being told about Newt. He was there and he stood up for Newt.

That should be the kiss of death! She may have been the Tea Party candidate, but she’s a looney tune. She’s the primary reason Harry Reid still sits in the Senate. She has one of the most intemperate mouths I’ve ever seen. I guess it doesn’t matter much since Santorum is at the end of the road.
Bull crap. I’m sick of that line. He has as good a shot as shot.
And why would liberal press attack someone who's a threat to no one but Newt?
