Appeals Court Blocks California Ban on Same-Sex “Marriage”
Semi-News/Semi-Satire ^ | 10 Feb 2012 | John Semmens

The 9th Circuit Federal Appeals Court upheld District Court Judge Vaughn Walker’s overturning of the voter-approved amendment (Proposition 8) banning the state’s recognition of same-sex “marriage.”

“Voters have no right to amend their state’s constitution in ways that contradict clearly established federal policies,” the Court wrote in its decision. “To allow such ‘willy-nilly’ revisions on a state-by-state basis would lead to a patchwork of divergent laws across the nation. Things that are permitted in some states might be disallowed in others. Uniformity and equality of rights throughout the 50 states would be sacrificed to a misguided notion of state and personal autonomy. This is impermissible.”

“Voters have no right to amend their state’s constitution in ways that contradict clearly established federal policies”

I didn't know there were any “clearly established federal policies”, except for the defense of marriage act. It looks like the 9th Circuit is making decisions out of whole cloth. These judges who voted this way should be removed from the bench along with those who use foreign law to decide US rulings. Just my opinion.

Our courts, especially the “Federal” courts, have all become like SNL skits. What a bunch of buffoons.

Since the Supreme Law of the Land is based on Natural Law Theory—the very idea of “homosexual” marriage is irrational and bizarre.

They are destroying the fundamental principle: “Natural Rights from God”. That makes our Founding documents based on Objective Truth—God’s standards are the US Constitution’s Standards of Right and Wrong. Just Laws have to be made from Right Reasoning-—logic and the laws of nature!!!!!

These idiot judges are in defiance of our Constitution-—kicking it out is NOT ACCEPTABLE. They need to be disbarred. They gave an oath to uphold it.

There is NO WAY judges can make something so wrong and unnatural and destructive to human states-—and immoral (Virtue is fundamental to Republics)—that this whole “homosexual” marriage argument is so immature and irrational, if it wasn’t designed to destroy the Christian paradigm in the minds of the children as they force anal sex on 5 year olds....it would be funny.

You are 100% correct. These bozos should be stripped of their robes and bounced from the bench.

As long as states are unwilling to take a stand against The corrupted court system then their will never be any real victory. Not for anything.

The Supreme Court might get involved in the battle over Marriage. Don’t count on Obama nominee Elena Kagan to do anything but damage in the case concerning homosexual ‘marriage’. During her time as dean at Harvard, Kagan attacked “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, hired radical leftists to teach transgender law courses, and campaigned to make the university “trans-inclusive”. Bradlee Dean writes about her in his article for WND: Elena Kagen: Just in time for gay 'marriage'.
