Poll: Latino voters overwhelmingly support Obama

Latino voters overwhelmingly support President Obama over any of the potential GOP candidates, according to a Fox News Latino poll released on Monday.

In a head-to-head match-up against President Obama, none of the Republican candidates polled hire than 14 percent among Latinos.

Additionally, 73 percent said they approved of the job the president has been doing, well above Gallup’s national average of 45 percent. And 58 percent said they approved of the president’s handling of the economy, which is by far the most important issue in the 2012 election.

Obama also wins a plurality among Latinos that supported Sen. John McCain (R-Ari.) in 2008, with 40 percent saying they would not vote for a Republican candidate again in 2012.

The Republican candidates have sometimes taken positions during the primaries that have turned off Latino voters.

Both GOP frontrunners, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, are on record as being against the DREAM Act, which would provide a path to citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants born in the U.S., and which 90 percent of Latino voters say they support.

They fit perfectly into 0bama’s grand plan of weakening America to a point of vulnerability, requiring that a Dictator make all the critical decisions in a time of crisis.. Contraception, anyone?

Mexicans want free stuff and handouts from the goberment. Bush, McCain, Karl Rove, et al are full of crap when they say Mexicans have much in common with the GOP.

Their “family values” are gang values. Why do you think our prisons and jails are full of Mexicans? Their boys join gangs, and increasingly thier girls are joining gangs too. There was an 11 year old Mexican girl in Long Beach, CA who killed another 11 year old Mexican girl in a fight last week.

Latinos are overwhelmingly Democrat and liberal. Republicans need to concentrate on getting the socially conservative Latinos, and hope more will follow as they see the horrible world liberals are creating. Meanwhile, if most Latinos are determined to vote for the gay, black guy who doesn’t give a squat about them, their families or futures, there’s probably nothing we can do about it. Let them go their socialist way. They will have to live in a broken America with the rest of us.

I’m sure you’re correct.
California is a good example of a state that went well past the tipping point due to the influx of illegals.
I doubt you’ll ever see a non-Dem winning ANY state wide election in California again.

I heard a GOP strategist speak at a conference in October who said that if the 1980 Reagan-Carter race was re-run with today’s demographics that Reagan still wins but it is by a razor thin margin... That is a terrifying thought.

Regardless of whether one agrees with the current policy, why would anchor babies need a path to citizenship?

Latinos are overwhelmingly Socialists. Why? This is the real question.

The great majority of them work pay taxes like the rest of us. Socialism is the biggest scam in human history.

This scam may seem obvious to most of us on this site but not for most people and those most hit by the scam it seems to be passing right over their head. Why?

Once you train a RAT to press a bar and something comes out, that RAT will press the bar until it dies, pressing the bar.

Of Hispanics that are Protestant, Republicans got 56% of their vote in 2004, and 48% of their vote in 2008.

Protestant Hispanics are a sizable portion of the Hispanic voters, I noticed that the main point of the post wasn’t noticed by you.
