FCC Should Clear Limbaugh Fom Airwaves By Jane Fonda, Robin Morgan and Gloria Steinem, Special to CNN March 10, 2012
Limbaugh has long history of hate speech. FCC should ask: Are stations carrying him are acting "in public interest," writers say.

(CNN) -- Ironically, the misogyny Rush Limbaugh spewed for three days over Sandra Fluke was not much worse than his regular broadcast of sexist, racist and homophobic hate speech: --Women cabinet members are "Sex-retaries." --"The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies." --The National Organization for Women is "a bunch of whores to liberalism." --[Said to an African American female caller]: "Take that bone out of your nose and call me back."
These are just a few samples from the arsenal of degrading language Limbaugh deploys on women, people of color, lesbians and gays, immigrants, the disabled, the elderly, Muslims, Jews, veterans, environmentalists and so forth.
Jane Fonda Limbaugh doesn't just call people names. He promotes language that deliberately dehumanizes his targets. Like the sophisticated propagandist Josef Goebbels, he creates rhetorical frames -- and the bigger the lie the more effective -- inciting listeners to view people they disagree with as sub-humans. His longtime favorite term for women, "femi-nazi," doesn't even raise eyebrows anymore, an example of how rhetoric spreads when unchallenged by coarsened cultural norms.

At least this most recent incident has turned a spotlight back on the vile, damaging statements Limbaugh has been promulgating for years. His sponsors are dropping him; his stations have begun to follow suit. VoteVets, a coalition of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, released a statement by female vets, including Katherine Scheirman....

Fluke them. JUst watched the opening minutes of The Undefeated. NOTHING equates to the vile treatment she got at the hands of the very same women calling fr Rush’s head. I have no other words fit for print on a decent forum.
Obama’s minions are are on the warpath, whatever it takes to give him more time to fiddle while America burns.
I remember someone taking a picture of Michelle Bachmann eating a corndog, and they turned it into something filthy. They all jumped on it like wild dogs and the dirtier the better. Maher, Letterman, Schultz, Matthews etc. all deserve to go down.
These people are the scum of the earth.
Wonder is they feel the same way about Randi Rhodes (who Quicken Loans advertises with) who said “You know, these women, somebody really needs to go repossess their ovaries,” Rhodes said.

These women credit Limbaugh with names or insults that I’ve never heard him issue once, and I’ve been listening since ‘94. About the only comment that I’ve ever hear him have to explain is the feminazi comment.
I’ve said it before, the left likes to accuse the right of hate, but these people perfected it.

If they succeed at dropping Rush, then by their own standards, Bill Maher, David Letterman and others who made crude remarks should be dropped from the airways as well. I’m sick of this double standard.
