Vice-President Joe Biden praised the killing of Osama bin-Laden, calling it the most audacious plan of the past 500 years.
Asked about other possible contenders for most audacious planthe D-Day invasion of Normandy during WWII or Washingtons Christmas Day attack on Hessian troops in 1776Biden replied no contest.
The raid that killed bin-Laden was carried out without any casualties for our side, Biden pointed out. The same cant be said for any other action taken by any other president. Lets not forget that Allied Forces had 10,000 casualties on D-Day and 2500 men were killed. Thats a bit of a blemish on that accomplishment.
Bin-Laden was hiding, Biden said. No one knew for sure where he was. Normandy was an obvious target. Everyone knew the Nazis were there. And dont get me started about the Hessians. They were drunk from throwing a loud Christmas party. Finding them and whipping them was a cinch.
Taking out bin-Laden was televised to the White House, Biden recalled. President Obama was virtually there with the Seals as the mission unfolded. Roosevelt played a more remote part in the D-Day event. And Washington wasnt even president when he led the Christmas raid.
Finally, the level of risk was incomparable, Biden asserted. Even if D-Day had turned into a disaster it wouldnt have been Roosevelts first. Anyone remember Pearl Harbor? And Washington had a pretty mediocre war record prior to that raid. In short, neither one of them was putting a perfect record on the line. No, the reward for guts clearly has to go to President Obama. I think voters will see that and reelect him in November.

Words fail me.
D-Day?
I see now that it’s satire.
well, if obama would have pulled it off himself he could clam a personal victory. I did not hear that happen. He put American troops in danger and took the glory for himself. Biden, is just up to his usual hysterical antics.
Every time biden opens his mouth, he exposes a giant wormhole.

Yes, but only slightly so. Therein lies the genius.
Another good one, John!
It’s become obvious that some of Joe’s hair plugs were drilled way too deep.
Love it....and you’re still batting around .600
This is semi-satire, but the really frightening thing is that the first sentence really did come out of Joe Biden’s pie hole!
It’s incredible how the ministry of propaganda kept going on and on about President Bush and his “Bushisms,” but quote for quote, I can’t think of a politician in history who has said more incredibly stupid things but not only gotten a pass from the ministry of propaganda, but they wax rhapsodic over him affectionately like a dearly loved uncle.

*Chuckle*
OK, you got me that time.
Well done!
Being on your ping list is a double-edged sword, John. On the one hand, I appreciate not missing your commentary. But, on the other hand, I no longer have the chance of getting duped by you because your “fake but accurate news stoies” are so darn plausible.
But, on the third hand, it’s so much fun watching others get duped by you (as we all were when we first started reading your stuff).
SHEESH!!! That’s a head shakin’ chuckler if ever I’ve seen one John. Wouldn’t put any of that dialogue past Biden.
Good one again.
Thanks for the ping.
I don’t know how you keep hooking them. You must have numerous angler trophies, the way you keep reeling ‘em in. Thanks
PS I do have to double check some posts just to make sure it’s not you.
Yawn.....
