Dear Friend: Thank you for contacting me regarding President Barack Obama’s eligibility to serve as President of the United States. I welcome your thoughts and comments.
The White House has responded to questions on this subject by making public a copy of the President’s birth certificate. To the best of my knowledge, there is no current government inquiry into the validity of that document.
I remain very concerned about the direction in which President Obama is continuing to try to take our country. From skyrocketing federal deficits, to the legislation that authorizes a government takeover of our health care sector, to the series of hugely expensive and counterproductive programs the administration has put in place in the name of creating jobs and growing our economy, my view is that President Obama has offered the wrong solutions and ineffective leadership for our problems.
In 2010, voters elected a Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, which deprives President Obama of virtually automatic Congressional support for his programs. This has brought the President’s legislative agenda to a halt. Yet rolling back bad policies and repealing wrong-direction legislation depends on the results of the upcoming 2012 national elections: whether American voters will elect President Obama to a second term, and whether Republicans or Democrats will control the House of Representatives and Senate.
I appreciate hearing from you, and I hope that you will not hesitate to contact me again on any issue that is important to you.

fact is, if being born in the US was the only criteria... then EVERY anchor baby with foreign national parents could be president.
this is simply not the case. period.
therefore, ask your governmental officials exactly how someone could be naturally a US citizen... if they were also a british subject at birth
just isn’t possible.

A dictator, such as Obama, only has the power that the people give him.
Currently at least 40 % of American voters are gladly willing to give Obama the necessary power to continue his dictatorship.
Dictator Obama has designed Obama”care” to become active only AFTER he is re-elected, thus enabling THE NINE SUPREMES to delay ruling on the Constitutionality of the dictate of the individual mandate until Obama is once again the Illegal Foreign White House Occupier, (IFWHO).
The purpose of Dictator Baby-Doc Barack is simple: 1.) Regulate; 2.) Control; and 3.) Destroy. By his own count he as achieved 60 % of his goals, according to the note he says he carries in his pocket.
Obama’s obvious deep hatred of America could have only come from his childhood.
Since there are no known networks of childhood friends from Obama’s past, Obama was probably a member of a Marxist sleeper cell funded by wealthy men with a Marxist view of the World.
The lack of credible evidence that has NOT been forged requires a long-term, highly skilled and well-funded support group.
Who the key members of Obama’s probable support group and probable sleeper cell were and are is well known to the CIA and the FBI.
Will the “Citizen Journalists” such as Breitbart Editor Joel Pollack be able to out-spy these two tax-funded spy entities?
BTW, forget about the LAM, (Liberal Agenda Media), as they are saving their notes to write their tell-all Obama books after Obama has SAFELY retired back home in Kenya.

While you are at it ask her why she is a serial liar for having promised to fund the border wall then voted against it. Or why we had to beat her into submission over the amnesty issue.
Kay Bailey made it obvious how useless she is way back during the Clinton impeachment vote.
Dewhurst has the big RINO machine from Austin behind him with lots of money. But our family is voting for Cruz. Senatorial candidates are having a debate on local Houston TV Friday night at 7. So we’ll see. In the meantime, Hutchinson and Kyl are teaming up with Rubio on a bill to make all those anchor babies legal. Hutchinson and Kyl don’t care - they won’t be around after December. In the meantime need to keep Dewhurst from winning. We have a chance to elect at least one Conservative Senator - and it’s not Dewhurst.
Also DEMAND that she answers both questions - the birth certificate AND the forged selective service registration. If you don't, you are guaranteed she will just answer the BC question with the same talking points all the cowards use - Hawaii vouched for it and all that crap - and totally ignore answering the selective service question. Plus the selective service registration is in more of their purview since that is tampering with federal records.
Joe Barton, R-TX, is also worthless. He refused to investigate Obama, saying O was born in Hawaii, therefore a citizen regardless of where his parents were born (natural-born is not in his vocabulary). I asked him at a Town Hall meeting and by snail-mail. Barton is totally worthless.

Do elected officials like Hutchinson realize what they are saying about this Obama eligibility mess?
On the one hand, we have Senators and Representatives saying that it is up to the courts to determine if Obama is eligible or not, and so, they say, Congress will do nothing until the courts or some government agency goes first in holding hearings to investigate if Obama is who he says he is.
On the other hand, we have courts telling us that it is up to Senators and Representatives to determine Obama's eligibility and Obama's punishment if Obams is lying about his eligibility.
In other words, the courts and Congress are telling each other that the other one must go first in investigating whether or not Obama has lied about his eligibility.
No body wants to go first. No one wants to be the first to say something like this:
"It is time that Obama proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is who he claims he is: A person who was born in Hawaii at Kapiolani Hospital in 1961, and who was never adopted by his Indonesian stepfather."
To Senator Hutchinson: There is no government inquiry---as stated by you in the statement above---because elected officials like you don't have the courage to start an inquiry as to whether or not Obama is eligible to run for President of the United States. You have the LEGAL right to start such an inquiry, but you and your fellow Senators and Representatives are too cowardly to start such an inquiry.

At the risk of being redundant I will post it here.
Congress is now in a no win situation if the edibility issue blows up.
The will have to:
1. Admit that there is simply no formal vetting
2. Acknowledge they did nothing to stop usurpation
3. Admit that when it was brought to their attention - on numerous occasions, with more and more detail - they did nothing.
They are now having to heed Ben Franklin....

Hence why CRS keeps publishing material for them all to use. It is now their common source to deflect the issue.
I have written Senators and gotten the deflecting, indirect response. It is clear what the approach is. Deflect and when necessary - use the CRS memos to respond.
Here is what I got back from a senior Senator in 2009 when I asked specifically about whether his accepted definition of natural born Citizen in Article II, Section 1 was the same as Vattel’s definition. i.e. I wanted him on the record on this subject without regard to the names of the players. I did NOT mention President Obama AT ALL in my letter.

Beyond the inaccuracies - I did NOT ask about President Obama at all and Lingle never claimed to have personally looked at the documents - the close point is interesting.

Notice there is no personal ownership of this statement. It is a general statement about ‘the consensus’ not his personal or direct view or belief.
This is one of the responses to lead my tagline.

I find their statement that there is no government inquiry interesting. Did they mean ‘federal’ government inquiry? Or did they assume you are not aware of the posse?
But in any case it is an example like the closing point of my letter that they will deflect but never flat out say - your wrong and here is why.
I think this the Constitutional provision you cited:
No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been encreased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.
It looks like she should not have been appointed if "the Emoluments whereof shall have been encreased during such time" which I take to mean the post's benefits being improved during the term in which her Senate seat would have naturally expired. Is that right?
She was elected in 2000 and reelected in 2006, so that term would not expire until 2012. However, apparently, the SoS post was given a "Saxbe fix" in which the SoS salary was rolled back to accommodate the Constitutional eligibility clause in question here.
Maybe you should ask about Barry's apparent violation of the Logan Act, in which he campaigned in Kenya for his cousin, Railia Odinga, while Barry was a Senator from IL?
