A classic Earth Day rant from George Carlin. Language warning.
OH MAN that bring back great memories ROFL
I wish Carlin was still alive I wonder if the dude would gone after Obama he probably would

I never cared too much for Carlin, but this really made me laugh.
In his later years, especially after the death of his wife, sadly Carlin mainly decided to rant against religion, and he became a “Johnny One-Note.”
The planet has been through a lot worse than us. Been through earthquakes, volcanoes, plate tectonics, continental drift, solar flares, sun spots, magnetic storms, the magnetic reversal of the poles … hundreds of thousands of years of bombardment by comets and asteroids and meteors, worldwide floods, tidal waves, worldwide fires, erosion, cosmic rays, recurring ice ages … And we think some plastic bags and some aluminum cans are going to make a difference? The planet isn’t going anywhere. WE are!
Thank you. I feel much better now. When I first saw this post, I feared that George had somehow been resurrected.

Saw this vid years ago and spot on. To add what Rush also stated: “you could stick in 100 million nukes and explode them all, and the earth will still adapt and survive and laugh at us”.
