President Obama is said to be weighing whether to pardon Amanda Clayton. Clayton was recently arrested for continuing to accept federal assistance after she won a million dollars in the Michigan state lottery.
Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette argued that “it should be common sense that if you’ve got a million dollars you aren’t entitled to welfare. Welfare is for people who are poor.”
The president is said to consider Schuette’s actions discriminatory. “If Warren Buffett won the lottery he wouldn’t be expected to forfeit his other income,” Obama observed. “Rich as he is, he would be allowed to keep both. Why then, shouldn’t Miss Clayton be allowed to keep her other source of income?”

This isn’t good satire because the lottery winner is white so Eric Holder would NEVER ever allow her to be pardoned. If she were black she’d not have been arrested in the first place.
I’m much more worried about this illegal alien releasing “people of color” who are cop killers, murderers, drug dealers, and rapists just because America has “done them wrong.”
Well this is just the berries. My husband was not able to work for ten months after life threatening heart problems and a subsequent transplant. We lived off of savings and retirement savings, which we had to pay taxes on for using. Last year he went on social security and also returned to work. We are barely caught up and looked at the SS as immense help. But guess what, because he made too much money when he returned to work, we have to pay SS back. The only difference between this story and ours is that the SS funds are something we paid into. This is insanity.
It has to be getting increasingly harder to do satire with this administration.

First thing I did when I saw the story was google the images of the “winner”. When I saw she wasn’t one of Holder’s people I had the exact same reaction you did.
He’s got an answer for everything...He’s a regular well-spring of knowledge where it concerns other people’s money, isn’t he.
