No...the “Church” wants more “F”ing money!
Catholic Bishops should solve the problem in their Church’s(and God knows they have enough of them) and leave the problem of illegals to those who know what illegals are doing to our economy.
Like the Federal government? That’s working out just great.
Has he never read the Biblical verses admonishing believers to respect the civilian authority? It’s not like the government is rounding up and killing or torturing these illegals. A nation has a right to have borders, doesn’t it?
Is Dolan a charter member of the CPUSA?
If one judges people by their desires, one would think that this guy is an anti-American communist.
A plane ticket home is about as kindly as I can put it.
Yesterday DC City council was reported to have come up with $20 million to provide medical insurance for their 20,000 illegal aliens.
That's $1000 per person per year.
A First Class ticket home, nonstop, is $929.
Are Dolan's papers in order?
Damned Church crapolas. This why I left over 40 years ago because they had started sticking their damned noses into politics.
It’s pretty obvious that the Catholic Church is more interested in staying alive by guaranteeing themselves future devotees from the illegals than from what should be their primary mission of saving souls.

LOL, see #6
Good points, the “Church” should be focused on taking care of the folks in their home countries/parishes.
I think you are right on this one. How can our country survive if we do not care who comes in, what they do, and what they take. That is insane policy. Even the church, every church, takes into consideration who their members are, what those members do, and how they represent their congregations. Otherwise, the supposed congregants can change and subvert the message of the church. It is the same for countries. I am certain most of the leaders in the government of Mexico would claim to be Catholic, but where is the humanity for those who are their illegally or non citizens that commit some petty crime and are thrown in a hell hole jail or prison? Arizona and Alabama are trying to solve a problem.
But Dolan is and was publicly in favor of "universal health care", and spoke nary a word of warning about what we all knew Obama are would bring with it. And now he's accumulating political capital by "speaking out" about the "evil mandates" as if he's the prophet Jeremiah.
He's a politician, is what he is, and either he's sublime to the point of being mysterious or he speaks out of both sides of his mouth.
Dolan said the Republican party must come up with a much saner, more civil, more just immigration policy.
Why doesn’t someone define the Democrat immigration policy for us sometime? It seems to be the policy we have been following for quite a few years and it seems neither civil or sane to me.
With all due respect, Your Eminence, mind your own flock!
Who may come to the table is a really big deal in Christianity. The Cardinal certainly can’t plead ignorance of the concept.
Actually, Timmy, the Arizona law mimics feral law, except that the feral government has decided that it can selectively enforce laws passed by Congress depending upon how it "feels" about them.
