There's Gold in Dixon Illinois' City Hall-Triple Lutz Report--Episode 186

www.FinancialSurvivalNetwork.com presents: Episode 185 deals with the massive fraud in Dixon, Illinois. Since 1983, the comptroller, Rita Crumwell, had a nice little racket going on. She stole over $53 million dollars, $30 million alone in the past 6 years. It's truly amazing this could go on for so long in a town of just 15,000 people, with a budget of $8-20 million dollars.

This story intrigued me because at some level this type of scam is happening in every governmental entity in the country. This is not to say that all government officials are looting between 10 and 25 percent of the budget outright. Sometimes it’s billions and sometimes it hundreds, but it’s going on all over he country, and its costing you a fortune. One has to wonder, could Mayor James Burke really be this stupid or is he part of the scam? Who else knew this theft was occurring? Hopefully these questions will be answered in the upcoming prosecution, but remember this is Illinois.

This is a hugh scandal in the horse world. She used the money to become the top dog in the horse show world of the American Quarter Horse Association (the biggest registry).

Big discussion about this here in Rochelle. $53 mil since the early 90’s and she was in office since the 80’s. A $2.1 mil motor home, ranches in Dixon and southern WI. A home in Florida. 315 horses.

If the Mayor and city council aren’t held accountable for this, the residents are to blame. She reported to a city commissioner. That commission just changed hands a year or so ago. On leaving the former commissioner told the commission that “She dealt with the city’s money as if it was her own”, to paraphrase. Boy, she sure did.

I do hope this women is jailed for life of hard labor and all of her possessions are sold and given back to the people of that town. What an absolute sin! Don’t tell me she was a Democrat - please don’t tell me this. It will shred my world! /sarc
