Recently, Barack Obama mysteriously ‘evolved’ his position on gay ‘marriage’ the day after his VP, Joe Biden, took the same position on national television. For someone who’s been avoiding the question for as long as he has, that’s a mighty quick evolution, I’d say.
All razzing aside, it’s blatantly apparent to anyone with two working brain cells, that Obama was simply pushed into endorsing same sex ‘marriage’ by his loose lipped VP. It’s not the first, nor will it likely be the last time that Joe Biden accidentally pushes his boss into taking a public stance that hurts him politically.
And hurt him it did. He knew that it would, which is why he avoided taking that stance for as long as he did.
Despite the enduring support of the politically correct media and the hard left, the nation hasn’t taken kindly to having the gay agenda forced upon them by public institutions, the entertainment industry and every level of government. Gays have become a politically and legally protected class with super rights that other Americans do not possess.
This fact has not been lost on most Americans, who long ago...

I don’t think Biden “pushed” him into this.
I think he’s always felt this way, but it is one of those things leftists have to hide when running for president. People who didn’t know this already were totally obtuse about who O was. I think he’s very carefully shedding all those radical lies, trying out the ones that he thinks may help him.
He thought this would get him some fast cash, and the moment was “opportune”. But I think it has backfired. Sure, he’s made some money, but it’s sliced off the “Reagan Democrats”. It’s a smack in the face that says, “And you were stupid enough to believe I wasn’t radical when I lied to you about it.”
Biden pushed Obama? I don’t think so. Biden was sent out as a stalking horse. The Obamites would gauge the reaction to Biden and would act accordingly.
The company intranet site is festooned with rainbow flags and there is a bulletin board by the door reminding us, just in case any sane, rational employee stopped being nauseated and disgusted for very long.
I can't stand that they are shoving this garbage down our throats. Oh, but it gets worse, people: "diversity and inclusion" (so-called) are now part of our annual review goals.
And just so you know - this is a very large, well-known Fortune 500 company that happens to have the naming rights to a sports stadium. I've worked here for many years, and I can tell you that the corporation I used to work for (before we were taken over by the current company) would never have stood for this.
Who knows, though? Today, either you "comply" or risk having the Federal government breathing down your neck because you refuse to endorse sodomy and perversion.

Obama only evolved in the public media sense for he had already made a presidential proclamation that JUNE is LGBT Month back in 2009, and this is hes 4th year in doing so. The US Department of State has further endorsed with admendments to their Foreign Affairs Manuals and FA Regulations to allow domestic partners the same rights for hiring preferences and housing as do married spouses, and in some cases just screaming their gay self identification was gounds for denial of anything sends Management Officers hiding under their tables. This article is utter BS. Obama made his views known immediately upon assention to the presidency; it is the MSM who failed to make his actions headlines....
This administration continues to be a complete embarrassment to the nation in every measurable category.
If you speak up you’ll probably lose your job, or at least get sent to re-education camp.
But on the outside, whenever someone brings up the “rainbow flag” to me, I usually head one of two directions-
1. “Do you know the rainbow was originally God’s sign in the heaven’s that he wouldn’t kill everyone in the world by flooding them again, in return for monstrous amounts of sin and selfishness?
2. “Did you know the original rainbow flag had one more stripe, pink, that stood for good sex? But they took it off. I guess it sustained the idea that gays are all about sex, and the whole idea is to convince us they are normal.”
Obama could easily have continued saying he was "evolving".
I think the whole thing was a clumsy way for Obama to make his statement so they could open up the coffers to Hollyweird and Madison Ave. cash that was being withheld.
Note the gay fund-raisers Obama has been to since his announcement. These were all planned beforehand.
Back when America was largely decent in morals and rational of mind, conformity was tolerable (like the old IBM dress code), even if it tended to stifle creativity in ways that caused companies to slowly lose their competitive edge.
Today's corporate conformity is qualitatively different: it is an enforced toleration of "protected classes" on the basis of difference ( i.e. - "diversity") regardless of whether such differences have any objective value and without regard to the moral content of human behavior.
The human values that help make companies competitive (such as effort, ability, intellect and creativity) are sacrificed in favor of either immutable personal characteristics (skin color, ethnicity) or voluntary behavioral choices at odds with the dominant culture... simply because they are at odds with the culture. Companies are thus made tools of social policy and go along so they can continue to enjoy the favor of our governmental masters.
In a way, the corporate world is a microcosm of our political environment, but enforced by politically-correct government mandates that private individuals can usually escape. But I can't escape... except by quitting - which I presently cannot afford to do. Oh, well. I have a meeting at 4:00 to talk about "diversity and inclusion", after which I'll go home and have a good stiff drink to wash the B.S. away.
