Congressman Allen West (R-Fla.) on Sunday called for President Barack Obama to immediately cut off all American foreign aid to Egypt and to denounce the results of its presidential election after Muslim Brotherhood-backed candidate Mohammed Morsi’s victory.
In a brief post on his Facebook page, West said Sunday’s results were reminiscent of the 1979 Iranian revolution that saw Islamists installed as leaders of the country.
“A year ago there were those of us who warned the Obama administration of a Muslim Brotherhood takeover in Egypt,” West wrote. “We were castigated as alarmists and loose cannons. Today our predictions have come to reality and the ominous specter reminding us of the Iranian revolution is evident.”
Calling the Arab Spring “nothing more than a radical Islamic nightmare,” West said the U.S. needs to “unequivocally reiterate” its support to Coptic Christians in the region and to Israel.
“What an incredible foreign policy faux pas by the second coming of President Jimmy Carter, the Obama administration,” West said. “I call upon President Barack Obama to cut off American foreign aid to Egypt, denounce the results of this election, repudiate the Muslim Brotherhood, and all radical Islamist political entities.

Did West miss the part where Zimmerman’s head was smashed into the concrete and bleeding from multiple areas? We can agree that no one had a death wish for Trayvon, except Trayvon himself.
Even Zimmerman called the authorities to assist. Seems like he wasn’t hunting down anyone when he decides to personally call the dispatcher. Makes a person wonder if emotion can be overridden by logic for certain cultures (Thank God for men like Clarence Thomas for carrying the torch of Truth).
He is way too conservative and logical for GOPe Romney.

West is always spot on when it comes to Islamic extremism...and he NEVER backs down from calling it what it is. I admisre that quality in a leader, someone who doesn’t give a damn about political correctness when looking into the eyes of the enemy.

This was back in March, before all the facts were known and when the MSM distortions had not yet been exposed. Has he made more recent statements on the case?
I also want justice for Trayvon. That would be a no-bill or an acquittal of Zimmerman and an exposure of who Trayvon really was.
As of today, I have yet to see a retraction, a recanting, or a “this-is-what-I-really-meant” statement from West. And no one has sent me one, either. I can only assume that this is another instance of mellanin being thicker than truth.
I agree with you about real justice. The unspoken truth that the Left doesn’t want the zombies to know is that Trayvon© was a wannabe gangsta who was high on grass and Lean at the time of the event.
