I have mentioned on a thread or two we’ll be seeing a lot of protests against BammyCare from unexpected places, now that it’s clear who’s going to be made to pay: The poor.

This must be the mother of all “follow the money” scenarios when the powers that be are determined to force it down the throats of Americans, even though many both left and right don’t want it. I don’t think it’s any big mystery why Roberts would vote for it nor why the Congressional Republicans haven’t gone full bore to oppose it-there’s too much to gain for too many of them. What’s another piddling little expansion of government power when there’s so much lovely loot to go around in Washington?

I,m on Medicare, for the most part. No other insurance. Will I be paying that mandate as well?

Some of them were probably on PuffHo & F i r e d o g l a k e, slugging it out with the OFAs & the duped. The cognitive dissonance with these people is astonishing. I don’t know if it’s Stockholm Syndrome, they’re slow learners, delusional, or what. I know on F D L, there was at least one OFA person on there who wasn’t making any bones about how the sacrifices people “needed” to make (”sell your house & get an apt”, “sell your car & ride the bus”) were “worth it” (even for lousy insurance they couldn’t afford to use).
A *few* (or maybe more than a few) will awake before November.
Illegals aren’t the only ones needing mass deportation, imho. Maybe a “cruise” to Pyongyang would be nice.
