OH NO, Say It Ain't So: T-Paw's Got the Personality of a Broken Parking Meter!

Rumor has it Mittens has 'made his decision'- and it is lame

Uh, HELLO!

Anybody on Team Romney remember boring Republicans losing elections they should have won like Gerald Ford, Bob Dole, and GHW Bush? Look in the tapes, Mitt... you could use some help...

And Tim Pawlenty makes those guys look like Johnny Carson!

How bout the TEA PARTY Mitt- couldn't throw us a bone, for chrissake?

WHY NOT Sununu... West... Rubio... or Bachmann?

Yeah, things look good for us right now, what with Obama blowing $100M on negative attack ads to little or noone effect, but are you really so cocky that you think you can win this thing shackled to a corpse?

I knew it was going to be hard supporting you, but expected conservatives (and those who know it actually takes some personality and charm to win elections) might get a little bit more to pin our hopes on than a wet rag that Michelle Bachmann had zero trouble rolling right-over in the primary..

Good grief, man- the Veep is supposed to be an attack-dog, especially when the guy on the top of the ticket comes across like C3PO in a Clark Kent wig!

What the hell are you thinking, Skippy?

life is depressing all over. i’m voting for Romney and praying to God that he wins, because i think we are done for if he doesn’t. i don’t have much patience for the sturm and drang that goes on on FR on one side or the other. if i am attacked, so be it.

Can anyone remember the last time a “moderate” compromised with conservatives?

With perfect, crystalline clarity. It was the very same day my flying pet unicorn, Twinkles, magically cured childhood bone cancer worldwide, by means of the rainbow-powered Skittles he shot out of his snow-white butt.

Don't know a damn thing about Pawlenty, and I plan to leave it that way.

See you at the Convention.

I heard Pawlenty on the radio a few days ago. At first, I thought it was someone else because he sounded crisp, clear of subject and fired up. Very un-Pawlenty like - he must have been channeling his inner Christie.

Well, who knows, some people will rise to the occasion.

If this is true(?), Romney is elected and Pawlenty stays true to form as a competent administrator, but without the flash and dash, his political future will depend on the next four years.

It would probably help Romney to be able to buy some breathing room, electorally. Rasmussen has Obama within 23 EV’s of the required 270 to win.

Everyone is looking at the Bush pathways to victory, but maybe Romney is thinking in terms of changing the scenario a bit.

Minnesota is an Obama state, but Pawlenty might put it in play. The same could be said for Snyder in Michigan and Corbett in Pennsylvania. MI and PA would be huge additions that would make other routes to victory possible for Romney.

Minnesota is what, 10 EV’s? 10 is important but not as much as MI’s 16 or PA’s 20.

Would he be willing to trade a Rubio in Florida, a state in which he has a prayer, with say a Corbett in PA, a place where he simply isn’t even in play? (Santorum?)

T-Paw will not deliver Minnesota.

We were the only state not voting for Reagan.

We have only become more socialist since then, even after a brief foray into la la land with Governor Jesse Ventura. That was after a Governor Arne Carlson (GOP-e before it was labeled as such). We stray occasionally, but never to conservatives.

I am free to vote my conscience in MN due to the irrelevancy of the tabulation.

I do vote down ticket though, and there are a few Conservatives here.

The guy in the front row looks like Krugman. If Pawlenty puts him to sleep, so much the better.

Pawlenty can’t give a speech!

Why go into politics if you can’t speak in public?

Maybe he thinks it will help win Minnesota?

Dang. Wish he would pick someone we could get excited about or someone we know will fill a need in the administration.

This must be disinformation like the Condi talk.

They float names just to stir us up a bit.

There’s so much vitriol against Romney on FR that I don’t much think it matters here who he chooses- it will be regarded as wrong.

Hey now.. We are not as blue as we once were. We do have a pub house and senate.

I agree tpaw won’t deliver the state. He won here yes. But only because the dim guy was horrible

The United States of America IS a socialist nation.

Maybe I should have said "openly acknowledged socialist nation" (aka Canada, Central and South America).

That’s why I vote down ticket...it matters locally...and who knows, from that crop of conservatives, future leaders may spring.

Why go into politics if you can’t speak in public?

Does that matter in Lake Woebegone? Norvegians like it kind of quiet.

Mostly agreed but Pawlenty little better, flirted with Warmist nonsense for some time, no?

My main point is we need a FIGHTER... and Sununu’s done a better job with that than any other Romney surrogate BY FAR-

I said he SHOULD have won... not ‘certain’.

His personality doomed him in a race he should have done far better in... that’s the point of this entire post
