For how long have people with common sense had to listen to the pure garbage being produced in mass quantities by the "left-wing," "progressives," "anti-war," "occupy," "peace activist," yada, yada, yada crowd? These thugs, censors, and condescending bigots have been claiming for years that Syria has no weapons of mass destruction (see here and here), even though some of us have been warning to the contrary for years (see here and here). Well... guess... what... the Associated Press announced today that:
The Syrian regime threatened Monday to use its chemical and biological weapons in case of a foreign attack, in its first ever acknowledgement that it possesses weapons of mass destruction. ... The announcement comes as Syria faces international isolation, a tenacious rebellion that has left at least 19,000 people dead...
19,000 people dead mostly at the hands at the "progressive's" buddy, Syria President Assad -- a "socialist" dictator sponsored in the past by the USSR (Russian Empire) and now USSR II (Putin's Russia). The "left-wing" is too busy spending all its time and efforts trying to destroy and delegitimize the only true liberal democracy in the entire Middle East, Israel, by spouting pure lies and hatred (see here, here, here, here, here, and here) and trying to shut up anyone who opposes their vicious, anti-Semitic prevarications (see here, here, and here).
Again, Syria's Big Brother Assad has the blood of 19,000 of his own, dead people on his hands -- in one year. From 2000 through 2007, 4,228 Palestinians have been killed in the Arab/Israeli conflict, mainly because of Palestinian foolishness and corruption. In the same period, Arab terrorists have killed 1,226 and wounded 8,342 innocent Israelis, both Arabs and Jews. "Since 2001, more than 12,800 rockets and mortars, an average of 3 attacks every single day, have landed in Israel." Arab armies waged war to destroy Israel in 1947, 1967, and 1973 -- to "drive the Jews into the sea" -- as Egypt's Nasser put it. Given this madness, what does being "progressive" mean?
Only silence regarding Syria (since 1971): no boycotts, no hate parades, no banners, no flyers, no shouting down public speakers, no bumper stickers, no riots, no twisted logic from neo-fascist Jimmy Carter.
But what more can we expect from limousine liberals and useless idiots parading around peddling lies, censoring the voices of opposition to their dogma, smashing the windows of small businesses, or planning terrorist attacks in their quest for "utopia" (their interpretation varies, e.g., getting handouts and/or having central control of society).

If Bush didn’t invade Iraq then Syria wouldn’t have WMD’s.... Iraq would still have them.

Syria had the Underground Bunker Complex for storage of biological/chemical/and nuclear weapons, and had same in the complexes, way before the Russians moved Saddam’s WMD’s to Syria.
One could surmise that in the Bakaa Valley complex there are a whole lot of WMD’s of all types, in various conditions of usefulness.
Yes, as noted in several of the article’s links, Syria had “independently” built its own chemical and biological weapons, and developed ballistic delivery systems. It was also working on nukes which the Israelis took care of. I put “independently” in quotes, as Assad and son colluded with at least N. Korea, Iran, and the USSR.
The Burden of Damascus may be self inflicted.

Once we define what these weapons are, the Left loses its twisted arguments that Saddam, Assad, Putin, etc. didn’t/don’t have Weapons of Mass Destruction
Yeah, but Saddam used to brag about his nuclear mujadeen too, and openly braggingly paid the families of terrorists.
It only counts if you actually catch them with the weapons, if they offload them to another country then they were just bluffing all along and you should have known that.
Oh wait, we did catch Saddam with tons of yellow cake uranium, terrorist suicide vest factories and gas canisters. Apparently it only counts when a leftist want’s it to count.

Yep. And did we ever hear the media speak about all those trucks leaving Iraq at night before the invasion. The ones the msm said didn't exist and crucified Pres. Bush. I saw the footage on TV and it seemed something very valuable was being transported to Syria. Not a word from the socialist alphabet networks.
Accidents do happen. Especially when moving old Chemical/nuclear/biological weaponry.
I went to a talk by Georges Sada, a general -Air Vice Marshall- and #2 man in Sadam’s Air Force during Desert Storm, who said that Sadam’s WMD were shipped to Syria. We may find Sadam’s WMD yet.
It is all written in Georges Sada’s book, Sadam’s Secrets.
Interestingly, Sada revealed that Sadam Hussein had an all Christian kitchen staff to protect himself from being poisoned. Sada was the only Christian general on Sadam’s military staff and heavily relied on him for truthful evaluations. He was never a member of the Baath Party which eventually led to his dismissal and retirement.
Sada is 72 yrs old and is active in humanitarian Evangelical missions. He says Iraq is historically Assyrian and Christian, not Arab and Muslim.
