Bishop E. W Jackson says the Democrat Party has a "cult-like devotion" to abortion and tells of a Progressive "journalist" attacking Gabrielle (Gabby) Douglas, the 2012 Olymics Gold Medalist in Gymnanastics from the U.S., for giving the "glory to God" for her success.
Case in point: Mary Elizabeth Williams, journalist for the progressive online magazine Salon.com, wrote, I've often wondered what it is about Christians like Douglas that unnerves me so ... Douglas and her ilk seem to espouse a faith based on what is commonly referred to as 'The God of Parking Spaces.'Williams doesn't believe we need God, but we do need Oprah and have been blessed to have her for 25 years. In fact, according to Williams, Oprah's success is downright "miraculous."
Jackson, founder and president of STAND (Staying True to America's National Destiny), responds: Progressives are indeed 'unnerved' by devout Christians. That's why they resort to ridicule, even of a 16-year-old Olympic medal winner. Williams says we worship 'The God of Parking Spaces,' but I would prefer Gabby's God of grace and kindness to the leftist's god of ridicule and persecution. Bishop Jackson served five years both as a minister for the Boston Red Sox Chapel services, and protestant Chaplain for the Boston Fire Department. He has taught Administrative Law at Northeastern University and business and commercial law at Strayer University in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, Virginia. Source: Exodus Faith MinistryMy friend Grumpy at Grumpy Opinions also posted on Jackson's call for Democrats to leave the party. Being the bold Grump that he is, he sent his article to "friends, neighbors and family members who consider themselves Christians and Democrats along with his own note. He thinks he won't receive back even one response. Here is one of his observations:I have noticed that so-called Christians will listen to news of these attacks so long as you leave Obama out of the discussion. The mere fact that I mentioned the White House will cause these so-called Christians from shying away because they do not have the cohunes to call evil out, no matter where it comes from.Grumpy's Christian neighbors, friends and family need to learn about the difference between Liberal Christianity, as driven by the National Council of Churches (NCC) which most traditional denominations are a part of, and Biblical Christianity. For instance, a former NCC president is leaving the NCC to join Interfaith Worker Justice, and he is urging Congress to pass a "Faithful Budget" to combat poverty. It's all about Social Justice and little but cherry picking the Bible. The NCC has been "concerned about gun violence for decades." If you are a member of any of the churches listed here, a part of the money you put in the church coffer, goes to NCC to further their agenda, which includes lobbying against your Second Amendment rights. So much to say about the NCC, but for now, we need more E.W Jackson's standing in our pulpits.
He's a little late with the news.... It's been time to turn their backs on them for over 50 years.
The blacks that are loyal to the democrat party are akin to battered spouses. They keep coming back and making excuses for why they were treated bad an ignored in the last cycle.
That's an easy one, she is the smell of death to you because you are perishing
Liberals have no problem with Christians as long as Christians don’t follow any tenets of their faith in public.
Men like him could also could open the eyes of the people of our nation to the sinful laws that the government has foisted on us, through corrupt judges who promise to follow the constitution, then break that promise by inventing laws rather than making sure laws coincide with the constitution.
We should pray that many other pastors stand with him and the hearts of their people fall under conviction for following a mere man or political party, rather than God. I think revival can happen. Draw a circle and let it begin with me God.
PLEASE, someone go to Salon.com and post the picture of this hag! It’s obvious she’s just jealous of Gabby’s beauty!
